POSITION: ROTATING EQUIPMENT & PACKAGES SPECIALIST AND PROJECT SPECIALIST LEAD
JOB RESPONSIBILITY:
• Lead and supervise the activities of each Project Specialist for Static Equipment, Rotating Equipment and package
• Review / Verification of the FEED documents
• Preparation of Man-hour estimation and Equipment Cost Estimates
• Preparation of Technical Queries.
• Preparation of Material Requisition list, detailed discipline deliverable list.
• Provide technical support and guideline to Project Specialists.
• Review of in house produced MDS, TS, MRs and TBEs prepared by Project Specialist.
• Preparation of PR for the equipment.
• Preparation of various project reports, department budget for the project, man hours control reports, and project monitoring and control
• Support in preparation of multi-disciplinary documents.
• Review and providing inputs to Overall Project Schedule.
• Monitoring and ensuring discipline project progress
• Ensure discipline workflow, interfaces, quality checks and approval of discipline project documents and vendor documents.
• Routine interaction with client and with engineering & project management, multidisciplinary teams and handling cross-disciplinary interfaces.
• Participation in Design Review Workshops, 3D Model Reviews, and Factory Acceptance Tests (if required).
• Support TM / PM in technical interfaces with the client.
• Act as focal point from engineering for Construction & Installation for mechanical equipment.
• Review of the tender documents, FEED endorsement, preparation of the technical clarifications,
• Preparation of Technical Specification, Mechanical Datasheet, Material Requisition(s)
• Review of technical offers and preparation of Technical Bid evaluations.
• Preparation of technical purchase order specification and post order coordination, both in-house and with vendor / client.
• Interdisciplinary Co-ordination and Follow all Project interfaces with other disciplines, supervise in/out information flow and control technical activities performed by vendors.
• Checking and approval of vendor / contractors drawing / documents.
• Vendor shop visit
• Site Assistance (if required)
