• Onshore Gas processing unit, Sour gas treatment, Absorber (ACID GAS REMOVAL), Dehydration Unit, NGL recovery, demethanaiser, cryogenic propane compressor, Utility operation.
• Onshore oil processing unit, Slug Catcher, Remote Manifold Stations and gas inlet manifolds, Crude oil processing.

• Open and close wells at wellhead. Changes and adjust production rates as instructed from control room.

Working for following plants commissioning, pre-commissioning and start-up up to steady stage.
Hands on operation in Ethylene/ Propylene recovery (SHAW) unit, Olefin conversation unit (LUMMUS), Isomerisation (AXEN) unit, Alkylation (EXXONMOBIL & STRACTO) unit, C4 Preparation (AXEN) unit.
Performing the following tasks:
(A) To Planning and performing pre-commissioning activities like hydro test, flushing, equipment inspection, isometric, mechanical piping loop clearance, steam blowing, pigging rotomol flushing, cardboard blasting etc.(whenever require for the pipe cleaning)
(B) To Carry out of plant controlling systems and routine changeover of pumps and psv, compressor also. (start-up/shut down of compressor after start up job)
(C) Trouble shooting/changing control system/communication, monitoring assigned units with instructions of panel/supervisor. Sample collecting activity.
(D) Having good and keen experience about low boiling point gas separation like Ethylene, Ethan, Methane, Hydrogen with the cryogenic equipment, cold boxes, expander, decontamination of gases.
(E) To write down pressure/temp./flow readings for critical parameters, routine inspection, monitoring operating conditions in the daily shift. Reporting to supervisor for any abnormality. Identifies the problems and its source and determines the best solution. Handle the plant when any emergency and criticality in plant with instruction of supervisor. Reporting about near miss, incidents to the supervisor.
(F) Operates oil and gas production, flare and vent, drain, injection and chemical injection system equipment in accordance with standard procedures and supervisory instructions.
(G) Perform remote field operations of the pipeline and facilities in coordination with the Control Room.
(H) Understand and have knowledge of the company’s Emergency Response Procedures, LOTO procedures & perform emergency response duties and tasks, Risk assessments.
(I) To respond immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which can include gas leaks and fires etc. And follow relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instruction.
(J) Maintains continuous radio contact with Senior Operators to keep them informed of operating conditions to request manual adjustments of equipment, to carry out on-site readings and convey instructions given by Shift Supervisor.
(K) To operate Pumps, compressors, turbines, storage tanks, separators, furnaces, pipelines, columns/vessels, control valves, block valves with as per std. procedure and HSE policy.
(L) Operating cryogenic equipment and process(-150C Temp)for Ethylene Recovery Unit.
(M) Compressor turbine solo run, compressor air trail, lube oil skid flushing, lube oil turbine pump(screw pump) start up with no load run to load run, all pump, screw/ reciprocating compressor knowledge also.
(N) Commissioning alkylation reactor and separators with olefin and C4 presence of H2SO4 catalyst and lined up with compressor.
(O) Carried out risk assessment for various jobs .Maintaining daily logs and maintain of charge hand over take over with reliever person
(P) Managing contractor jobs with highest standard of HSEF implementation and follow permit to work procedure (PTW) when job carried out with equipment or in field. Continuously monitor the work activities and progress to ensure compliance with the PTW requirements.
(Q) Follows Refinery policies and procedures in line with Company’s objectives and interests.
(R) Good surveillance, vigilance and control in Operations.
Plant: Alkylation/ Spent acid regeneration/ Olefin Saturation Unit
Position: Field Operator
Roles & responsibilities:
(A) Preparing the vessels ready for taking the hydrocarbon feed.
(B) Witnessing the hydro test of piping and vessel inspection.
(C) Reviewed P&ID and Equipment data sheets.
(D) Prepared or reviewed pre-commissioning & commissioning SOPs and Operating manuals.
(E) Imparted training to Field operators with Apprentices.
(F) Supervising piping erection to ensure cleanliness while erection & prepared punch list.
(G) Prepared of commissioning punch list for RFC, RFSU and blind list, equipment’s isolation drawings.
(H) Undergone permit to work safety training of all types of permits carried out by M/s IFP. (AS PER SATORP STD.)
(I) Prepared procedure for normal operation like pump change over, PSV change over, control valve dropping &, taking sample with closed sample system.
(J) Carries out draining purging to prepare equipment and vessels for maintenance.
(K) Alters operating conditions or product flows to allow prior isolation of equipment for maintenance and re-commences operations according to procedures, following completion of maintenance. Keeps himself aware of ongoing maintenance work by reviewing permit to work records/logs
Plant: Alkylation, & Spent acid regeneration unit/ Olefin Saturation Unit
Capacity: 83 KBPSD (Alkylation) & 1000 MTPD(SAR)
Position held: Field Operator
Roles & responsibilities:
a) Worked as Field executive with independent charge for the areas Alkylation Reactor area & Spent acid regeneration units.
b) Responding immediately to plant process upsets/emergencies and safety emergencies, which included gas leaks (LPG).
c) Hands on experience in start-up/ shutdown of 2 Nos. of HP steam driven 12 MW centrifugal Refrigeration (iC4) compressors. Compressor start-up/ shutdown performed independently several times as per the plant load variations requirement.
d) Carrying out hydrocarbon, acid/caustic service pumps & PSVs decontamination for handing over to maintenance by following safety work permit system. Taking back the pumps in to service after completion of maintenance jobs.
e) Trouble shooting during the operation upsets & effectively communicating with Panel Officer & Shift field Engineer.
f) Taking routine hydrocarbon & acid/ caustic samples using closed sample system.
g) Managing contractor jobs with highest standard of HSEF implementation and follow permit to work procedure when job carried out with equipment or in field.
h) Undergone Process safety management training sessions of various elements.
i) Involved in Refrigeration compressor turbine solo run, compressor air trail, lube oil skid flushing, lube oil turbine pump (screw pump) start up with no load run to load run.
j) Involved in commissioning of pumps, Reactor mixers solo run and no load trail run.
k) Performed pre-commissioning activities like hydro testing, flushing, equipment inspection, mechanical piping loop clearance, steam blowing, pigging rotomol flushing, cardboard blasting, pigging of piping.
l) Active team member in the commissioning of Alkylation reactor and settlers with olefin and C4 in presence of H2SO4 catalyst and lined up with Refrigeration compressor.
m) Prepared Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various activities like charging of systems, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, normal operation like pump change over, PSV change over, control valve dropping &, taking sample with closed sample system.
Roles & responsibilities:
a) Worked in multiple Nitration of Nitro Toluene and Nitro chloro Benzene.
b) Worked in operation of Distillation Column.
c) Worked in Erection & Commission of Resorcinol plant.
d) Having thorough knowledge of Autoclave Reactor (Under pressure 15 Ksc).
