Scope of Works: Civil works for several ITS devices and the related infrastructure for the communication and energization of several ITS devices (DMS, RVD, Bluetooth, CCTV & RWIS)
Job Accountabilities:
• Administer a multi-cultural team in a holistic environment with 10 department heads.
• Responsible for the supervision and management of Engineering & Construction works with end to end delivery.
• Lead the co-ordination and integration of external stakeholders operations including various Authorities as required; into Projects at different phases.
• Assist Procurement Manager for on-boarding of sub-contractors through ‘performance-people-price (3Ps)’ process with negotiations.
• Render support to Quality team for internal and external audits to earn full compliance.
• Collaborate with planning department for preparation and finalization of contract programme and milestones.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly & monthly progress reports for all stakeholders including Client.
• Develop the Civil, MEP & Structural Preliminary (PD) and detailed design (DD) for EPC projects.
• Develop the standard procedures for design deliverables and interface management within the Engineering and Construction team for further workshops with the Stakeholders to execute the project.
• Leading the preparation of change orders commercially with the Contracts Team.
• Knowledge to administer contract procedures, working with standard forms of contract and FIDIC.
• Implement value engineering proposals to alleviate costs of the project.
• Conduct meetings with client to identify potential opportunities for efficiency gains and develop solutions.
• Regularly meet with cross-functional department managers to keep them informed of decisions affecting their areas of operation and ensure uniform implementation of project policies and delivery of services.
• Conduct in-person performance appraisals to review performance against agreed business goals.
• Transformation of team by improving their skillset to achieve higher performance levels.
• Management and oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS), and Work Health & Safety (WH&S) system supporting the delivery of the Services.

Review Project Specifications, Construction drawings and Bill of Quantity and identify engineering requirements for a project.
To provide technical input to Planning Department / Project Manager / Contracts Manager in finalizing/ preparing Contract Programme.
Review the design for design and build projects; mainly for the Airports and then develop the same through the team for further submissions and workshops with the end user.
Initiate Material and sub-contract requisitions for all permanent required for execution of the project.
Evaluate the technical submissions from suppliers and sub-contractors for all major materials required for the project and review Material Submittals for suppliers selected by ACC for submission to Engineer/Client.
Review the Method Statements prepared by Office Engineer, Site Agent/Project Manager for adequacy and submit them to Engineer/Client for approval.
Provide details to draftsmen for Shop Drawings and review the Shop Drawings for accuracy/compliance to contract requirements prior to submission for approval.
Monitor and manage the tracking schedules for all technical submittals such as Contract Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Procurement of Materials, Method Statements, Work Notifications, Site Instructions, Confirmation of verbal Instructions, Variation Orders etc.
Overall responsibility of issuing controlled copies of documents such as Contract Drawings, Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements, Work Notifications, and Site Instructions etc. to all concerned project staff as required through Document Controller.
Monitor the Procurement Schedule and co-ordinate with Procurement Department and Stores on delivery of long-lead, critical and bulk materials.
Monitor site progress and provide technical support to Contracts/Project Manager and project team.
Close-out documentation of the ongoing projects for further handing it over and issuance of taking over certificates.

• Co-ordination with Consultants/Client & Architect for approvals of Drawings, BBS, Material Submittals & Method Statements.
• Technical Supervision over all construction activities to ensure quality of works & procedures as per the specifications.
• Being instrumental in close out of the concerned areas/activities of the project & provide inputs for the closeout documentation.
• Working out for quantities of clearance area, earthwork, asphalt areas, & crash barriers for tendering of a new project.
• Preparation of bar bending schedules as per British Standards for Irrigation Manholes.
