• Technical Proposal/Feasibility Study- Performing a Technical Feasibility study for brown filed/green field projects and prepare technical proposal as may be required for new projects
• Developing the detailed scope of work for plant modification/upgrade CAPEX/OPEX projects, technical specifications, control strategies, design drawings, BOQ (for OPEX), and cost estimates.
• Prepares datasheets and purchase specifications for field instruments and control system
• preparation of basic design, FEED and detailed design of the instrumentation and controls part of the project
• Ensuring that the design is carried out as per the industry standard practices and in conformance with the quality management system
• Provides Technical Support to I&C Maintenance team through Engineering Solution or attend the unexpected shutdown for the resolution
• Updates the Technical Specification for the Flow meters for MARAFIQ
• As a subject matter expert (SME) in performing root cause analysis (RCA) investigations/ RCM study and provides expertise to the RCA/RCM teams as required
• Contribution in the Facilitation of IPF/ LOPA analysis and development and assurance activities (IPF- Instrument Protective Function)
• Contribution in the Facilitation of HAZOP study for the green and brownfield facilities.
• Experience in advanced Instrument and control systems knowledge as applied to complex industry which includes technical competency on Plant equipment Control and Shutdown systems, which include DCS, SCADA, RTUs, Turbine control systems & Compressors control systems, ESDs, Fire & Gas systems etc.
• Involves in Commissioning activities in GTG, STG and Desalination, chlorination and Sea Water pump house areas.
• Experience in all aspects of supervision, control & Instrumentation system design, PLC, Automation, Commissioning of control automation and SCADA for SEWAGE treatment plant and Pumping stations.
• Value Engineering-Continuously looking out for value engineering options & propose cost effective alternatives in design, selection of equipment/material, improving efficiency etc.
• Ensures the compliance of international codes and standards such as API, ISA, NEC IEC, NFPA, ASME, etc. related to Instrumentation and Control and process safety in the vendor specification and documents

• Commissioning Engineer at 4000 MW combined cycle power plant.
• Experience in Commissioning of SIEMENS Turbines (SSTG-4000F, SGTG-5000F & SGTG-4000F) and also very good knowledge in SIEMENS SPPA T3000 DCS systems, SIMATIC S5 & S7. Also, programming knowledge in Siemens Step 7 programming (S7-1200).
• As a member of commissioning team, tasks involved in various commissioning activities during commissioning phase. Commissioning of Siemens Gas Turbines with fuel gas & oil, BHI&DOOSAN (HRSG) boiler and Steam turbines SIEMENS & ALSTOM.
• Preparing the Functional Test Procedure for Request For Inspection with clients.
• Updating and checking of Hardware drawings (FUM IO module cabinets, Server cabinets, Fiber Optic Patch Panel).
• Maintenance & Commissioning of Automation devices including Server, Automation Processors, OSM, Router, LAN, Fiber optic cables etc.
• Maintenance & Commissioning activities including Calibration, loop checking of field instruments like pressure transmitters, thermocouple, RTD, flow meters, control valves, pneumatic valves etc. & carrying out function tests (Hot & Cold Commissioning).
• Maintenance, Commissioning & trouble shooting in Gas turbine trip system, Failsafe systems, WIN_TS, Controller systems, Data logging Systems, Flame, Speed and Vibration monitoring systems.
• Commissioning experience in field instruments with Fieldbus Communication (PROFIBUS)

• 3190 MW Combined Cycle Power plant (GTG: 15 x 126 MW, STG: 5 x 260 MW).
• Testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of combined cycle power plant through GE Mark VI e DCS and associated plant, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Carry out the required logic changes in GE DCS in Toolbox 4.2 and making the necessary changes in HMI CIMPLICITY software.
• P&ID development, loop drawings, control system design, instrument installation details, schematics, network diagrams, cable schedules and instrument lists.
• Commissioning of Bentley Nevada BN3500 system for Sea water pumps and Trash rack screen system.
• Commissioned the Portable water plant, electro-chlorination, CCW and other BOP system.

• DCS interface signals between 13.8 KV, 4.16 KV and 480 V switchgears and DCS.
• Loop testing and calibration of instruments such as RTD, TC, TT, PT, FT, LT, On-Off valve, Control Vales, MOV, Gas detectors, smoke detectors, heat detectors, analyzer, vibration instrument, etc.
• Trouble shooting and Functional checks of valves (MOV, Solenoid, On/Off, Control, Relief Valves), Positioner, I/P Transducer.
• Familiar with P&I Diagrams, Instrument Loop Diagram, Logic Diagram based on Function Blocks, Cause & Effect Matrix, etc.
• Preparation of Field Material Requisitions, Field Change Requests, Field Change Notices and Deficiency Reports.

• Calibration, maintenance & troubleshooting of Analytical instruments such as Conductivity meter, PH Meter, Dissolved Oxygen analyzer, Turbidity, H2S gas monitor, chlorine analyzer and ORP analyzer (Make: SEVERN TRENT, ENDRESS HAUSER and ROSEMOUNT).
• Troubleshooting in Siemens S7 300, 400 PLC .
• Maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting remote terminal units (RTU) and Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA).
• Maintaining the Calibration record and as per schedule calibration carried out for all instruments.

• Operations & Maintenance.
• Carried out the regular PM and CM activities as per schedule.
• Performed the calibration of all field instruments during the planned shutdown period.
• Involved in Maintenance, Diagnostic and troubleshooting of control valves, rotary valves cum actuators, thermocouple, RTD, magnetic flow meter, mass flow meter, density meter, PH meter, level switches, radar level measurement, o2 analyzer, pressure gauges, pressure switch, pressure transmitter, temperature gauges, temperature switch, temperature transmitter, Belt weigher, weighing scales, metal detectors, vibration monitors, flow switch, Safety switches including Belt Sway Switches, Pull Cord Switches and Zero Speed Switches.
• Maintaining the Calibration record and as per schedule calibration carried out for all instruments.
