Key Responsibilities
 Providing strategic and operational support across the team in order to ensure effective, timely, quality and economical purchases & services for the organization.
 Contribute in prioritizing the purchasing workload across the team, review PR for adequate info/SOW, group purchases, and rapid validation & provide first level of PO approval.
 Successfully prepare, negotiate and administer a broad range of complex, technical and high value/risk purchases/contracts and also responsible for renegotiations on special cases of the department POS/Contracts.
 Contribute to reporting KPI for the purchasing activities of the team to the department head.
 Provide adequate MIS key data to department head.
 Ensure all purchasing activities meet audit requirements in order to minimize any potential risk.
 Successfully done pre-qualifications procedures, prepared tender documents, negotiations, drafting and awarding of contracts
 Conduct testing of proposed development/technique in ERP (SAP-MM) and its implementations and recognized as power user.
 Develop and established effective tools, templates and procedures for procurement.
 Conversant with clearance procedures like, document reviews, applying for duty exemptions, EPC approvals, clearing the goods through nominated shipping agents and arranging delivery, etc.
