1. Plan, schedule, review and coordinate project material and procurement to meet the area construction schedule.
2. Maintain administrative control of all construction materials as required for the construction project.
3. Initiates purchase requisitions for critical materials as necessary to meet construction needs and contract obligations.
4. Supervises the procurement of materials not ordinarily procured by the Purchasing Department.
5. Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory and status and location of materials.
6. Prepare required documents and drawings and maintain all files for material delivery sites and prepare efficient work schedule.
7. Ensures that all material procured meets Client Company requirements.
8. Submits periodic project material status reports to OXY.
9. Coordinates with OXY for project materials as per site requirement.
10. Identifies and monitors problems in the material delivery program and recommends and implements corrective action.
11. Maintains contact with stores, purchasing and construction personnel as well as outside vendors to discuss matters relating to the procurement of materials.
12. Verifies accuracy of material ordered on authorization and purchase orders to the construction drawings. Corrects and procures materials missed or ordered incorrectly.
13. Verifies that all materials used in the performance of the job assignment are in compliance with Client Company requirements.

 Material handling & Storage: Planed preparation of material handling equipment & manpower for efficient & safe movement of materials.
 Receiving, Inspection & Store keeping: manage necessary preparation, verification of physical quantities, established and implement the inspection, trace ability of materials, store with acceptable, good housekeeping.
 Over Short and Damaged Report: Material shortage, damaged and overage & their endorsement of carrier document with over, short and damage condition on carrier & notify to concern in order to claim returnable, loan materials and spare parts.
 Materials Issues: Issue authorized request of material to contractor for issue of consumable, returnable chargeable, loan material and spare parts.
 Computerized Inventory Control: The receipt, ware housing, and issuance of materials, status report physical verification of inventory periodically reporting, financial year ending & reconciliation of physical stock with system balance.
 Codification: Computerized codification of bulk, equipment & consumable items.
 Preservation & Maintenance: Material equipment in warehouse & open storage. Safes from all kinds’ spoilage maintain their original quality, value during storage & are available whenever required.
 Liaison with Transportation: Selection of the right of transport service, speedy dispatch, best care of goods in transit etc. Filling claims against careers and insurance company for loss, damage and overage. Tracing and expending urgently needed consignment.
 Disposal of Material: Obsolete, surplus and scrap & returnable non-used material to lot wise type for easy disposal.
 Organizes and coordinates activities and staff schedules, ensuring fulfillment goals are met and that shipments are timely, accurate, and undamaged.
 Taking care in inventory regularly, weekly, monthly and yearly.
 To maintain stock adjustment after inventory.
 Prepare purchase Requisition & Issuance form.

Responsible in receiving & checking of company materials deliveries, duties to check
the quantity & quality of items received, as per purchase Order, packing list
description & specification required.
* Issued and control warehouse & yard materials (Plates, Pipes & Structural)
* Arranged and segregate materials in their corresponding location.
* Prepare purchase Requisition & Issuance form.
* Monitoring monthly material inventories.
* Maintain records of material requisition status reports, monitor materials and
equipment delivery time, provide retrieval system to advice engineers of material
status.
* Maintain register of all requisitions, overhaul spares requirement.
* Follow up on urgent / emergency requests and delivery on-site.
* Maintaining and reporting on daily tasks, requisitions status and various matters
relating to warehouse.
* Fully aware with safety measures in store, stock verification and legal aspects of
storage.
