Senior Sales Engineer - Lighting Solutions
- Follow up with the assigned contractors for job in hand projects for the lighting opportunities.
- Sending quotes for tenders to the contractors.
- Submitting the technical submittal.
- Providing samples, taking the approvals from the Consultants.
- Closed working with the contractors, consultants, site engineers etc.
- Closing the orders, executing, and payment collection.
- Projects related documentations i.e. (Quotations/Costing/Delivery
Notes/Payment Follow-up) etc.
- Selection of suitable light fixtures as per the projects specification requirement from different source i.e. (Manufacturers/Suppliers/Distributors) from all over the world.
- Taking prices from, (Manufacturers/Suppliers/Distributors) directly and then doing costing based on our company standards and volume of requirement
considering (Ex-work prices, Currency exchange rate, Freight & Margins).
- Direct Interaction with concern persons on each of our projects i.e. Contractors, MEP contractors, Consultants, Project Managers/Engineers.
- Direct one to one interaction with (Manufacturers/Suppliers/Distributors).
- Well-Experienced in negotiating contracts, budgets.
- Recognize areas for cost savings and ensuring the efficient budgeting of all
our projects.
- Make, handle and maintain good relationships with the clients.
- Maintaining a healthy business relationship with all our Principals/Manufacturers/Suppliers worldwide.

- Prepare the electrical works estimation and pricing by reviewing BOQ, specifications, and liaise with the market suppliers to provide adequate prices and offers.
- Preparing design documents and drawings for all design stages of project electrical works to be in compliance with the local codes, regulations and
international standards such as MEW Kuwait, CIBSE, IEC, BS, IEEE, NFPA etc.
- Retain the required government approvals for the electrical works.
- Ensure all drawings, documentation and records in use are reviewed, coordinated, approved and controlled for adequacy.
- Be fully aware of the project requirements, specifications, drawings and contractual terms.
- Ensure correct site follow up and execution of awarded projects by performing site visits on a regular basis
- Plan, schedule, the work to be executed and ensure follow up to avoid delays in execution and meet deadlines.
- Ensure the implementation of the Project Quality Plan as well as review and monitor the progress of the project.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and submittals and shop drawings.
- Suggest and implement corrective actions where deficiencies are detected.
- Manage project execution within deadlines and complete execution within target.
- Prepare the daily and monthly progress reports for all electrical work projects.
- Perform lighting design and calculations using Dialux & Autocad.
- Implement Energy Efficiency & Auditing Programs for the facilities to save cost on operation.
- Implement preventative maintenance for lighting fixtures, main switch board, distribution board, switch fuses, light fittings, cables, generators, automatic transfer switch, fire alarm panels, emergency
lights, uninterruptible power supply, etc. to ensure continues & fully functional operation of electrical systems.
- Provide technical guidance to site personnel and technicians.
- Enforce safety rules at all times and report non-compliance from Site contractors.
- Attending technical workshops, seminars & establishing personal and professional networks.
Design of customized BAS solutions a, controllers, field peripherals, control valves and actuators, as per each project’s process operation requirements.
• Estimation and preparation of BAS quotations using projects’ consultant specifications, equipment bills of quantity and schedules.
• Preparation of source approval and project technical submittals.
• Attending meetings, giving presentations and following up with projects’ engineering consultants, clients and governmental entities for systems’ approvals.
• Preparation of bills of material for control products and local materials for procurement.
• Preparation and revision of BAS shop drawings and as‐built drawings.
Providing technical support and supervision during site execution activities.
• Providing technical support and supervision during the BMS system testing and commissioning.
• On site, physical checking of completed systems functionality before handing over to consultants / clients.
• Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for executed projects.
- Assist Marketing and Sales with Interpretation of customer drawings and requirements.
- Assure the capability to produce products as specified by the customer including the interface with Operations personnel for definition and
implementation of product and process modifications
- Create, update, and document specification review and process documentation for customer requirements.

• High level of experience with L.V Networks at Substation.
• Familiarities with International/Local Standards i.e. IEC/IEEE
• Good Experience in Open Type LV substation and Transformers.
• Fare knowledge of the control/ protection relays used in HV/LV Substations.
• Review and analyze the project technical specifications and finalize Project Requirements
• Initiate and finalize interface engineering drawings, panel installation and equipment layout.
• Make site design modifications if required and obtain the maximum optimization and final approval.
• Good user for Technical software which usually used for electrical analyzes such as ETAP - POWER FACTORY
