Responsibilities:
•Floating RFQ, RFP, ITT as and when required based on requirement and as instructed by end user.
•Obtaining quotations and analyzing them in conjunction with end user departments.
•Negotiate with vendors for improved pricing, product quality, and delivery.
•Reduce cost through negotiations and identification of low cost vendors without compensating on quality.
•Liaise closely with all “end user” departments to ensure that product specifications meet the project requirements, including warranties, certification etc.
•Raise and place purchase orders/contracts either through tenders or established policies and procedures.
•Continually monitor status of all orders to ensure materials are delivered according to the schedules.
•Perform accurate completion of all documents relating to each Purchase Order.
•Maintain accurate procurement records and collate information for weekly review by P&L Manager.
•Evaluating suppliers periodically & to update/maintain supplier’s catalogue library and portfolios.
•Sourcing suitable suppliers for capital goods, services and project material to provide solutions to enable faster, smoother and more economical ordering options.
•Seek new vendors in line with projects quality/price requirements.
•Authorization of invoices/bills and timely payout to vendors.

•Fast Diving Vessels - YN 547603/04-Hull Aluminium/Steel, with a speed of 20 knots The Sea Axe Accommodatesupto 28 guests and 22 crew members.
•Damen ASD Tug boat 2913 - Hull Steel, Basic function - Towing, Mooring and Firefighting operations
•Damen STAN pilot boat 2205 - Hull Steel, Basic function - Transport of personnel and Pilot duties
•Damen STAN pilot 2606- Hull Aluminium/Steel, Basic function - Transport of personnel/cargo
•Yacht Refit/Repair - MY Constellation - Hull Aluminium/Steel.This vessel offers accommodation for up to 19 guests and is also capable of carrying up to 22 crew onboard
GMMOS Dubai is a general engineering and specialist pressure vessel fabrication company providing high quality equipment and support services to the Oil & Gas industry in the Middle East /Gulf region and internationally with more than 25 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
•Receive material /service requisitions(MR/SR)through ERP from Engineering /Design/Project dep’t
• Have them clarified and completed when necessary (Description, delivery, SAP codes) and check with approved vendors list if client given (ADMA, Saudi ARAMCO, ONGC, ALSTOM, FLOURetc)
•Search for potential bidders and perform a market survey when competition is possible
•Prepare and issue RFI, RFP, AND RFQ, using internet tools when so required.
•Perform bid evaluation, clarification, negotiation, and recommendation management
•Create and amend purchase /Service order in ERP System
•Expedite delivery of materials, in coordination with requestor and QA/QC if necessary
•Organise and maintain the administration activity:PO/SO filling, reporting and archiving, updating PO Register,

•Setting up the weekly, monthly, quarterly procurement plan.
•Maintaining minimum quantity for Mild Steel sheets, pipes, tubes, and production items.
•Finding different vendors to get maximum benefits to company
•Maximize credit limit, and credit terms with new vendors
•Draft bid specifications and requests bid proposals from vendors.
•Generating Purchase Order via ERP. Getting approval from GM, Account head and to MD approval.
•Direct purchasing functions such as product/service research, vendor selection, price and contract terms negotiation and purchase order completion.
•Prepare budget estimates and monitor departmental expenditures.
•Controlling Stock. Monthly inventory with Account department.
Effective management of vendor database.
•ABC classification of vendors on the basis of criteria like cost, quality, timely delivery etc.
•Development of new vendors.
•Conducting trainings for vendors to educate them about company’s requirements and help them in improving their performance.
•Evaluating vendors & negotiating the price, delivery schedule and terms and conditions with them.
•Timely clearance of payments & handling vendor inquiries.
•Running programmers to evaluate vendors based on the feedback from internal stake holders.
•Visit vendors once in a week to ensure the parts are ready for dispatch
Major Achievements:
•Saved 150 Thousand AED in the year 2011 for Streit Group of companies by identifying domestic vendors to supply material which was earlier imported.
•Cost control of 0.5 million AED in GMMOS by selecting new vendors/manufactures
•Development of price unit data base in ERP system to assist estimation department in GMMOS
•Saved 100 Thousand AED for Streit Group of companies in the year 2010 by selecting new vendor.
•Made a procurement easier by preparing slow and Nonmoving items list every month in Streit Group
