• Carrying out Petrophysical interpretation of exploratory and development wells.
• Evaluating the Hydrocarbon Reserves.
• Interpretation of wireline logs through Geographix, Interactive Petrophysics and Techlog softwares.
• My Duties involved onsite hazard analysis through visual Observations, measurements and calculations.
• To conduct Baseline survey and to complete the related sections, drawing Geological Maps and take Photographs of the Geomorphology.
• To prepare GPS worksheet for the Hazards. Analyzing risk and ranking hazards
• To work closely with GIS officer to create hazard maps.
• Awareness in community from hazards and introducing safety techniques.
• Preparation of Reports, pointing hazards and providing Hazard Mitigation Techniques.
• Selecting the best material combination for roads.
• Conducting / supervising tests on raw materials or finished products in order to ensure their quality and to assist how resistant they are.
• Carrying out different tests during and after the construction of roads to know about its durability.
• Observation and examination of drill cuttings (formation rock chips), and evaluate any hydrocarbon (gas) constituents, basic chemical and mechanical parameters of drilling fluid or mud (chlorides and temperature).
• Observing and examining the drilling parameters plotted on a graphic “mud log”.
• To check rate of penetration or drill rate, pump rate, pump pressure, drill string weight, rotary speed, rotary torque, mud weight and mud viscosity, sometimes using attached monitoring devices to the drilling rigs equipment.
• Learning the technique for the preparation of daily geological and drilling report.
