Client: Tanmiyat
Working as a Resident Engineer in Infrastructure Works for Living Legend & DAMAC Akoya Oxygen projects. As a Resident Engineer representative controlling the site supervision and management of the project and providing the leadership to the project team and the project as a whole. The work nature is construction of Asphalt internal roads for the community, parking, foot path and all utility services. As an Resident Engineer, my duties are project planning, preparing project reports, monitoring the project execution, project evaluation, monitoring project status and progress, coordination with client, authorities and contractors, evaluating the contractor claims and preparing the reports, valuating the extension of time claims, monthly progress report, Q.A/Q.C report, etc. Having thorough knowledge in FIDIC, Conditions of Contract, CESMM3, BOQ and specifications. Preparing the agenda for the meeting and chair the technical meetings with the Client and the Contractor. Advise the contractor for contractual and construction matters. Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of action and supervision to meet quality expectations of the work in accordance with contract documents. Immediate decision making is my key for my success in my carrier. Advise the Client of any site conditions and variations for the works. Technical leadership.

Areas of Expertise & Responsibilities

Project Planning:
 Conceptualizing detailed project reports, project execution plans after thorough discussion with clients; handling selection of sites, conducting project evaluation in terms of outlays and brief of management.
 Establishing time span of project execution as per requirements of company plans.
 Listing down the resource needs for projects, after considering the budgetary parameters set.
 Monitoring project status during the course of periodic project review meetings.

Site & Construction Management:
 Supervising all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & coordination with site management activities.
 Leading and motivating large teams of workers and professionals and handle allocation of tasks within teams based on skills profile.
 Identifying & developing a vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories & timely delivery so as to minimize project cost and ensuring on time payment to vendors.
 Acquiring experience and thorough knowledge on supervision of roads and services (water, electricity, etisalat, storm water drainage, foul water drainage, irrigation and street lighting).



Co-ordination / Project Engineering
 Collecting/compiling requirements and incorporating the same in detailed engineering by interacting with the client for all disciplines.
 Networking with consultants / clients / contractors to ascertain technical specifications, construction related essentials, based on the prevalent rules.
 Maintaining excellent relations with statutory authorities for availing mandatory sanctions.
 Coordinating with client and contractors for all disciplines to execute the Project as per designs and drawings.
 Handling contracts & interacting with senior management for implementation, approval and presentations of the project.\

Quality Control
 Adapting and implementing a stage-by-stage Quality Monitoring System to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
 Ensuring adherence to ISO quality standards; handling quality related formalities and documentation.
 Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
