Working in KEBL. as Reservoir Engineer. Follow up all Reservoir Engineering activities carried on Faihaa field (Yamama, Mishrif and Zubair reservoirs). Key roles:
• Formulate, review, and enhance reservoir management plans, data acquisition (including downhole sampling, coring for CCA and SCAL) and surveillance activities for reservoir monitoring.
• Track the reservoir pressure by memory gauges, fluid level and MDT (By Schlumberger) or RDT (By Haliburton) for the new wells in the same reservoir.
• Recommend Pressure Build Up PBU and Draw down to fairly monitor well performance, preparing DST program, witnessing of DST operations on rig site and preparing the DST report including pressure transient analysis using Saphire software.
• Reviewing wells and reservoir data and QC the data for validity, consistency, and integrity.
• Maintain and update reservoir simulation model to support reservoir development, depletion planning and reserves assessment.
• Identify, propose, and evaluate opportunities to improve hydrocarbon production and reservoir recovery.
• Ensure a comprehensive range in subsurface uncertainties understanding has been well evaluated and passed on to develop production forecast, input, assumptions for WPB.
• Reserves booking and quarterly revisions: Estimation of Developed/Undeveloped Reserves by generating prediction runs of FFM (Full Field Model) and Estimation of Producing Reserves with DCA.
• Collaborate with Planniing, Drilling, Surface Facilities and Well services departments to set the Business plan: short and long term plan.
• Supervises key field development planning & tracking activities such as scoping, scheduling, work program, budget, integration of planning and reporting in support of the development of three reservoirs: Yamama in development phase, Mishrif and Zubair in appraisal phase
Actively partake in integrated reservoir study and played a critical role as a technical focal point to implement newly developed technology for reservoir management using machine learning techniques
Working as a consultant in reservoir engineering: provided consultancy on all aspects of reservoir engineering workflows in addition to being involved in field development plan projects. Key Projects:
• Performed detailed geologic and reservoir study for HRS (Hassi R'Mel South) onshore gas field with thin oil rim in Algeria operated by the National Oil Company: Sonatrach. Study including the following: data gathering, well test interpretation, PVT analysis, and EOS characterization, SCAL data quality check and interpretation, geological model quality check, history matching, and production forecast optimization by studying multiple development scenarios (infill drilling, water injection, gas injection, gas lift, and ESP installation).
• Field development plan for RDC field (Rhode Chegga) in Algeria operated by Sonatrach, performed the following tasks: DST's interpretation, PVT data analysis, and EOS characterization, SCAL data QC and interpretation, model initialization, and history matching phase. Sonatrach-Algeria
• Uncertainty quantification through dynamic modeling of CEN field (Chebit ENakhla) located in Algeria and operated by Sonatrach. The objective of the study was to review the most critical uncertain parameters (ranges and probability of distribution) to support reserves categorization and to generate an initial development plan.
• Waterflooding management of Elborma field located in Tunisia and operated by SITEP. The study started initially by introducing the Low Salinity Water Injection option into the simulation model to enable salinity tracking. Then, improving the history matching of the simulation model. Finally, generate field development scenarios and optimization.
• Numerical well test simulation, Ain Tsila field in Algeria operated by Groupement Isarene (JV's Sonatrach and Petroseltic): Workflow steps are the following: Initially, Created a sector model of Ain Tesla field. Then, History matching of well test data (rate and pressure) and finally evaluated different completion scenarios (including hydraulic fracturing, well type (vertical, deviated, or horizontal), and horizontal well length) to assess its impact on well production performance.
• Production performance enhancement of Ashtart offshore field located in Tunisia and operated by SEREPT: Performed tasks: Production data analysis and Wells performance evaluation, wells screening and identification of low performing wells, and finally workover candidate selection and recommendations.
