• Monitoring trainees and instructors progress within the department to ensure achieving the set learning outcomes.
• Preparing and delivering general/advanced technical theory and practical lessons in avionics, electrical systems, and engineering principles, in addition to carrying out bespoke training courses such as Aviation Maintenance Officers Course (AMOC), Tool Control, GSE operation, and Aircraft & Hangar Safety.
• Reviewing existing curriculum, training modules, workshops, assessment, etc., and suggesting/implementing changes where required.
• Gaining approvals for curriculum and course changes with the university authorities and appropriate authorities.
• Counseling and motivate students on relevant academic or discipline issues.
• Reporting to the training manager about trainee's status and training programs and assist in resolving issues related to it. Furthermore, managing department expenses and training budget.
• Delivering of advanced theory and practical avionics/electrical technical courses such as Fault-Finding Techniques on Aircraft, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Aircraft Power Supplies Systems, Aircraft Instrumentation, General Aircraft Procedures, Aircraft Maintenance Documentations, and Aircraft & Hangar Safety.
• I developed and implemented fault finding simulators for some of the aircraft systems such as lighting, fire extinguishing, and landing gear systems which enabled me to train trainees practice fault finding techniques in a safe working environment.
• I developed and conduct a new maintenance training program in line with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT), I designed its maintenance scenarios (incorporating inspection, testing, and fault diagnosis) and implemented the curriculum and resources within a real aircraft/hangar environment, and utilizing formal Instruction and Hands-On Practice to develop trainees work skills needed at real aircraft/hangar environment.
• I have formed, mentored, and led various successful instructors within diverse fields from instructional duties to On the Job Training at a real aircraft/hangar environment.
• I taught detailed maintenance procedure, fault diagnosis and defect rectification by operating real Aircrafts GIA, Simulators and CBT enabling theoretical and practical applications.
• Instructs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance per the maintenance manuals with trainees.
• Instructs use and operation of support equipment systems.
• Provide instruction in system fault reporting and fault isolation procedures.
• Train trainees on removing and installing components and the use of handling equipment, special tools, and test equipment.
• Provides clarification of technical data set in technical orders and manuals.
• Train trainees on completing all required maintenance records when working on actual aircraft.
• I prepare the training hangar, aircraft GIA, simulators and tools/equipment as required prior to course delivery and return the environment to its appropriate state once the training is completed.
• Maintaining the inventory, control, usage and maintenance of all training hangar resources and assets. Also, ensured the facility is equipped with the appropriate safety and first aid supplies.
• I perform preventive maintenance, diagnose problems, repair Aircraft GIA, Simulators, lab equipment’s, and maintain training aids to relevant standards and ensuring devices are safe and ready for training use.
• Planning and conducting audit programs for aviation and engineering departments, hangar, workshops, labs, and curriculum.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• I joined the staff of Avionic Training Flight (AvTF) within Aerosystems Training Squadron (ATS) at RAF Cosford, UK in January 2015 for 9 months; I completed the period as part of the exchange program between the RAF and RJAF instructional and delivery staff. I worked directly alongside my RAF colleagues to deliver training and assessment for RAF ground technician training.
• I delivered theory and practical based lessons such as Aircraft Fault Finding Techniques for Electrical and Avionics Systems, Aircraft Power Supplies Systems, Aircraft Integrated Avionic & Communications Systems, General Aircraft Procedures and F700 documentation.
• Taught detailed maintenance procedure, fault diagnosis and defect rectification by operating complex avionics integrated systems (IAMT) and simulators, enabling theoretical and practical applications.
• Counseled students with regard to their academic performance or behavior as required.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Teach PFTC student’s electrical, electronics and avionics engineering courses with its labs/workshops according to diploma level requirements from Al Balqa'a Applied University and compliance with Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (JCARC).
• Set-up the laboratory/workshops and assist students in conducting practical laboratory/workshop subjects in a safe working environment to maximize student learning and achieve course objectives.
• Design and execute graduation projects for students of the college.
• Update and develop course outlines, instructional materials, training aids and assessment.
• Manage all facilities and activities related to achieving student learning.
• Communicate progress and performance to students and college management/administration.
Internship focusing on Design, Supervision and Administration in engineering projects.
Provided executive reporting to senior staff.
Technical training in:
Maintenance works on power supply, controllers, protection and the power components in the aircrafts.
Installing and removing instruments from the aircrafts and perform the electrical check of flight, engine and auxiliary instruments.
Satisfying safety requirements associated with safe operation in the aircrafts.
For my qualification, I have been carefully selected courses to provide me with depth knowledge and enough skills in electrical engineering at multiple sectors such as Electronics, Communications, Power Systems, and Control. This qualification prepared me to teach, instruct and train trainees on different avionics and electrical systems used in various civilian/military aircraft''s. During my qualification study, I developed and delivered multiple projects in addition to my graduation project in the communication field, which is GSM Jamming which is a GSM cell phone jammer to disables cellular phones in some particular places such as mosques, libraries, meeting rooms, and other places where silence is expected. I got a GPA of 3.55/4.0 (Very Good)
