• Shuqaiq #3 IWP - 450, 000 m3/day capacity reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant Contractual model: BOO
• Dammam ISTP - MBBR technology based sewage treatment plant (STP) capacity: 200, 000 expandable to 350, 000 m3/day Contractual Model: BOOT
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day oversight to the projects under construction ensuring achievement of project progress targets and deadlines.
• Participate in the development, implementation and updating of project schedules covering all stages of design, procurement and construction.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to all technical and contractual obligations as per SWPC requirements.
• Coordinate and deal with all matters related to correspondence with project developers, contractors and vendors including responses to requests for information (RFI), queries, variations and commercial issues.
• Review and evaluate project progress against approved schedules and plans, identify slippages recommend and follow up implementation of remedial actions.
• Liaise and communicate with project stakeholders including SWPC departments, project developers and consultants in resolution of all problems and issues.
• Maintain all project documentation and produce management information reports highlighting opportunities for improvement and areas of concern.
• Dealt with coordination of project management activities including monitoring and control of schedules, control of databases, prioritization of projects and optimization of resources.
• Participated in the redesign and improvement of existing processes, development of new processes and managed the auditing process.
• Participated in the construction of the 132/13.8 KV substation at Shaqra University (Substation 8521). Energized the substation on 16 August 2016
• Served as Project Engineer for the contract for overhaul of a Westinghouse gas turbine at the King Khalid Military City (KKMC)
• Worked in project quality monitoring (February 2013 - June 2014) - supervised and audited SEC projects related to substations and overhead & underground cables ensuring adherence to SEC standards; reviewed and approved project quality plans; conducted inspections and issued reports; supervised project execution covering installation, commissioning and energizing of substations.
• Served as a member of the project takeover team (May 2012 - February 2013) - coordinated activities related to takeover of substation projects, liaised with various SEC divisions in documenting and resolving technical comments and issuing permission for energizing substations after closing of all comments.
