Credit Manager in the Wholesale Credit & Market Risk Department (Credit & Risk Department - Corporate Banking) for BBU (Business Banking Upper) and SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) segment from 1 May 2014 up to date.
BBU segment is for entities where revenue range is from SAR 30m to SAR 100m while total facilities are up to SAR 10m. SME segment is for entities where revenue range is SAR 30m and below while facilities are fully secured in general.
Being part of BBU & SME credit team which is responsible for approving the credit proposals for firms where annual turnover is up to SAR 100m and total facilities are up to SAR 10m. The team is also responsible for approving proposals/requests for margen trading (loans against shares) and private banking.
• Being Part of the financial analysis team in SABB which is responsible for analyzing customer's financial statements and alerting senior management on Risk involved in lending and other exposures to large and medium corporate clients.
• Using Moody Risk Advisor Models and Moody Financial Advisor (RA & FA) to spreading customer financial statements and to generate customer Credit Risk Rating.
• Assist to identify the financial risks involved in lending and other exposures towards large and medium corporate entities.
• Recommend suitable mitigation of financial risks by way of conditions precedent, covenants, security etc.
• The financial analysis reports form part of the customer credit propositions and help top management make intelligent decisions in lending and other exposures to large and medium sized customers.
• Liaison with the concern relationship managers with the aim of reaching consensus on sensitive issues regarding customer financial positions and credit risk.
• Communicate with bank customers to obtain further clarifications. Discuss complicated accounting treatment and often sensitive financial policies with the aim of arriving at meaningful analysis of accounts.
This experienc comprises of being part of the Credit Operation Department and the Credit and Risk Department (All corporate banking) and includes wide experience in the following: security documents - assignment of contract payments - trade credit information - corporate loans - writing proposals and reports - monitoring incomplete security documents - monitoring past dues loans - monitoring approval conditions.
The early years in SABB include experiences in customer services, credit cards, charge back and new accounts
• Completing staff officer training program in SABB bank in 2006 (3 months period). • Completing staff officer development program in SABB bank in 2008 - managerial level (1 year period). • Credit and Risk Foundation course (one week period in HSBC Dubai – 2012). • Accounting courses from Institution of Banking. • Financial analysis courses from Institution of Banking. • Moody's commercial e-Lending programme comprising 52 modules. • Computer certificates from King Saud University, Al Alamia and New Horizon.
