•Responsible for sustaining the operations and activities of the directorate.

•Participate in putting the instructions for transport and storage of liquefied petroleum
gas( LPG) according to international standard such as (ASME), (NFPA).
•Participation in putting the instructions for hazardous materials storage.
•Study schemes for fuel stations in terms of safety distances and safety requirements .
•Participation in studying and the adoption of LPG centralized systems.
•Lecturer in the prevention and protection from hazardous chemicals and flammable materials.
•Detected on vital installations and submit a report about the availability of safety requirements
and the requirements of fire fighting and alarm systems.
•Inspect the fire fighting systems and the alarm systems to ensure their validity according
to the international standard and codes .
•Participate in special committees to detect the storage of hazardous materials (chemical or explosive).
