Collaborate with members of my team, operations team and other functions to:
• Provides consulting support to the client group to identify opportunities, develop business cases, and design and implement an appropriate solution. The objective of this activity is to create incremental value through productivity gains, improved business and operational performance.
• Leads process design activities with client & operations to enable achievement of client objectives.
• Leads the technology selection activities, in collaboration with the IT department, to achieve the appropriate balance between enabling the desired process improvement, integration, development and implementation.
• Manages systems implementation and on-going operations utilizing appropriate management, applications development, and operating methodologies and controls. The purpose of this activity is to ensure reliable systems operations and integrity complying with Service Level Agreements with client. This activity also includes oversight activity for 3rd party solutions providers
• Develops and mentors Business Solutions staff to increase leadership, consultant, and technical skills. The purpose of this activity is to increase the contribution of individuals and the entire Business Solutions organization to the enterprise
Direct Responsibilities include:
• Managing the relation with the business development department in writing proposals and answering the RFPs
• Conducting pre-sales meetings and offering post sales support for clients in the region
• System analyst for multiple projects
• Managing the relation with the project Managers to plan, Implement and support the projects
• Leading the technical services team (15 employees) and applying advanced project management techniques in distributing the department manpower on the projects.
• Managed the installation and integration of UKS products with clients’ existing legacy IT applications and infrastructure
Other responsibilities managed by the technical services team:
• Planning UKS systems, services and processes.
• Managing Microsoft Windows and others OS; Microsoft Exchange, IIS; SQL, DB2, Oracle, Active Directory and web applications.
• Responsible for the storage, maintenance and delivery/installation of UKS hardware and software assets.
• Troubleshooting and solve issues.
• Systems trainer and help desk.
• Writing automated scripts (batch files, JScript, SQL etc); and standard coding and debugging techniques (C++, C# etc).
• Setting up development/test environments
• Deployment of UKS systems, services and processes.
• Installing the network infrastructure for UKS and clients (Windows 2000/2003 domain, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, TCP/IP)
• Installing, configuring and managing MS Exchange
• Monitoring the activities of the network in terms of bandwidth usage and quota management
• R&D for eLearning products (Authoring tools, LMS, etc)
I was in charge of analyzing clients' requirements regarding Interactive Voice Service (IVS) -one of Optimums Co. Solutions- by identifying their portal services, and then customizing the IV system by means of programming and components assembly to establish the target system.
