Responsible for
•Setting up internal Quality Specifications for Raw materials, In-process materials and Finished products.
•Supervise and optimize the activities of Quality Control functions for the production of OPC, PSC, PLC, White Cement (Cem-I, II & III) & GGBFS.
•Support External Customers through Marketing Department to satisfy their needs by Ensure the produced Cement & GGBFS meets the Customer’s requirement and resolving problems related to Quality.
•Evaluating different sources of Slag to reduce Raw material cost and to find the alternate for Japanese Slag.
•As a Internal Auditor for IMS, NQA-1 and ADEHS-MS and participating in Internal audits to ensure the effectiveness of the same.
•Key member in EHSMS committee.

Kuwait Cement Company - Kuwait and reporting to H.O.D Production.
The plant capacity is 5.0 million tons per annum having 2 lines each 7500 TPD. Eight Cement Mills with 3 Pre- grinders. Plant machinery designed & supplied by F.L.SMIDTH - DENMARK. Having products OPC, SRC & Masonry and GGBFS as per ASTM & BSEN standards.
•Functionally Responsible for Monitoring and controlling of QC activities right from Raw materials receipts to Finished products & Raw materials handling.
•Optimization of Raw mix with new mix designs and Fuel mix for better production.
•Co-ordination with Process Department for producing better quality clinker and smooth operation of Kiln.
•Responsible for Operation, Maintenance and Calibration of all Analytical Instruments like XRF- FLS-QCX On line (Duel XRF systems)
Jayanthipuram, AP, functionally responsible for Quality Control needs up to Clinkerisation process. Independently handling the Quality Control Department and reporting directly to Unit Head in absence of Department Head.
•Responsible for Raw mix design, designing of Fuel mix, Raw materials handling and Stocking. Identifying the new sources of Raw materials.
•Coordination with Mines department for better Raw Mill production.
•Annual budget preparation for all Raw materials and Fuel.
•Maintaining various Productions, Quality parameters and BIS Records along with the records and procedures for ISO 9001.
•Calibration & Maintenance of all Lab analytical instruments and Physical Testing Equipments.
The Plant Designed and Supplied by F.L SMIDTH - DENMARK having short Kiln with Inline Calciner, VRM for Coal and Raw mill and Combidan Cement Mill and Losche VRM for Cement Grinding OPC & PPC and Paddle Mixer for PSC through Blending process.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:-
•Formation and Quality control of Limestone Stock Pile by “Chevron Method” by using “Gamma Metrics - Cross Belt Analyzer” (Bulk material analyzer) for Limestone Analysis.
•Hand on experience in the Operation and Calibration of Philips PW 1606, PW2400 and ARL 9900 XP versions XRFs with different types of Sample preparation technique (Powder, Fusion and Wet grinding method)
•Raw mix design and Quality control of Raw mix with Intellectual based Blending Control System & FLS - QCX On Line system with automatic sample preparation (similar to ROBO Lab).
•Raw mix Burnability studies with different raw materials and its proportions to study the material suitability for clinker manufacturing.
•Calibration of all Physical Lab equipments like Blaines apparatus, Compressive Strength Testing machine by using Proving Ring & Electronic Load Cell and Vibrating Machine.
•Operation and maintaining of Cilas -Lasser “Particle Size Analyzer”.
•Knowledge of Optical Microscopy and sample preparation techniques (Clinker Phases and Glass content in Slag).
•Having knowledge in operation of XRD and interpretation of mineral phases.
•Operation and Calibration of analytical instruments like LECO- Sulphur & Carbon Analyser, Calorimeter for Heat of Hydration, Flame Photometer, Bomb Calorimeter, pH meter and Infrared moisture balance etc..
•Gravimetric/Wet Analysis of Incoming Raw materials like Limestone, Laterite, Bauxite, Iron ore, Gypsum, Fly ash and Slag, Intermediate products and Finished products.
•Analysis of Coal, Lignite, Pet-coke and designing of Fuel mix to meet Raw mix for getting desired quality of Clinker.
•Experience in choosing Raw materials like Bauxite, Laterite and Iron ore.
•Physical testing of all Grades of OPC, PPC, PSC, SRC, White Portland Cement, Masonry Cement & GGBFS and Pozzalonic materials as per BIS, ASTM & BS-EN Standards and Specifications.
•Exposed in attending Masons Meet and Quality Complaints to support the marketing team.
Developed an instrument which can rapidly measure the SO3 content in cement.
•Problem identified and solution for the saturation problem in XRF Al2O3 channel.
•Developed a unit for Ethylene glycol regeneration after the measure of F.CaO in Clinker by conductivity method.
•Involved in the Development of Auto blains apparatus.
•Actively involved in Alternate fuel usage (Waste Tyre & Rice Husk etc..).
•Actively involved in Slag Mill (Losche VRM) commissioning and Portland Slag Cement produced by Blending Process in Madras Cements, Jayanthipuram.
•Actively involved in Masonry Cement project commissioning by Blending Process in Kuwait Cement Company, Kuwait.
