Distributions Logistics at Muslim Aid

Distributing Food Parcels ( WFP ) for People in need, including IDPs and host community places in
camps and non-camps( Shirqat, Qayyara, Hammam Al-Alil, Al-Shora, Haj Ali, and Jadaa Camp).
• Preparing and developing the distribution site and coordinating with
local authorities.
• Ensuring that project target beneficiaries are most in need, and explore and asses new and better ways to
assist.
• Deploying to areas of people in need within 24hrs notice.
• Liaising with community leaders, local authorities and security forces to enable access of field teams in
the areas of operation.
• Ensuring that the distribution sites are organized according to standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring project objectives are communicated to Human Appeal’s beneficiaries during distributions.
• Liaising with the logistics/warehouse whenever needed in the food distribution; ensuring the items are
available in the warehouse and transported to the field.
• Doing any other duties assigned by the line manager.
• Sending reports about numbers of IDPs and the host community placed in the area of distribution.
