Management of suppliers and subcontractors being part of the role via the implementation and maintenance of the company Integrated Management System. Responsible for: Overall management of the QHSE management system throughout the Company providing advice and guidance to the Senior Management and other departments throughout the company regarding QHSE issues. Managing the strategy, employment, monitoring and maintenance of the QHSE standards and resources across the company including operational facilities and construction projects, by liaising with the execution teams and other supporting departments, clients and external 3rd parties. Develop and implement efective QHSE strategies, awareness, audit, training, and other relevant programs across the company, maintaining a proactive and interactive QHSE culture. Achievements: During the 15 months in this position, I implemented behavioral programs that made a cultural change within the company that was recognised by the Senior Management. I was also instrumental in and ensured that the company made a smooth transition from the existing ISO certification to be part of the group certification with a non-certified country receiving their initial certification.

Name of Project: Expo2020 Metro Extension Project (ExpoLink) Value: 10.6billion A Role: Consortium Senior HSE Manager Max Workers: 12.500+ The Route 2020 Metro Rail Project is an extension of the Dubai Metro Red Line, starting at Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station going to the 2020 Expo site. The 15km alignment includes approximately 2.5km of bored tunnel excavated by tunnel boring machine, 1.2km of approach tunnels formed by cut-and-cover method, two ventilation buildings and two annex structures with elevated viaducts and seven stations (two underground), integrated rail systems into the existing line and new installations (including two main power stations) and enhancement works on the existing line and depots. The project includes the introduction of 50 new trains. Responsibilities: In the position of the main contractor Consortium Senior HSE Manager, I ran a department which included a H&S site team, environmental monitors, HSE trainers, and medical teams. The main departmental team consisted of +70 HSE and other professionals not including the +100 main Subcontractors, totalling over 130 HSE Oficers at various phases of the project. Developing, implementing and maintaining the HSE systems gaining ISO certification, interfacing with the client, engineer, sub-contractor senior management, government and other external third party stakeholders.
