Role Description :
As part of the business development team, is responsible for using consultative sales skills to develop syndicated or custom research solutions to existing clients (prospecting, territory management, product demonstrations, multi-stake holder business case development, objection handling and contract negotiation).
Main responsibilities:
Formulating appropriate research solutions and managing complex ad hoc projects to a successful outcome
Engaging in knowledgeable interactions with clients to maximize the relevance and practical action-ability of the research according to their day-to day strategic needs
A full review of all generated materials via querying, validation and final interpretation of data and analysis to fully meet client objectives
Demonstrating a genuine understanding of the client’s industry as well as the client’s strategic and operational challenges and opportunities
Liaising with colleagues in other regional offices to ensure that all project team members have a clear understanding of goals, objectives and timelines
Crafting and selling custom research and other syndicated data solutions (often an intelligent and targeted combination of both) to clients through the consultative approach
Established and maintained strong client relationships with regular close contact including regular face to face meetings, trainings and presentations
Responding to clients requests on a daily basis, reviewed market information and provided business analysis to clients requirements
Used consultative sales skills and understanding clients’ needs in order to achieve up-sell targets, developed sophisticated customized research solutions, handled and negotiated contract renewals.
