 Assess risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation.
 Support the bidding and proposal team in the offer generation process including scope, T&Cs, pricing, etc.
 Maximizing projects profitability through close monitoring of projects expenses and cash flow cycles, and immediate resolution of contractual and commercial issues;
 Manage all functional areas of contracts; including drafting, negotiations, commercial and taxation scheme development, administration, change orders, claims, termination, and close-out; in conjunction with indefinite delivery and management of contracts, purchase orders, consortium, joint venture, purchase, pre-bid agreements, etc. under various contractual and financial schemes;
 Present quarterly and annual reports to senior management on the status of current contracts or as requested.
 Decide on the preparation of insurance claims and follow up the claim process;
 Work closely with corporate legal and compliance teams to stay abreast of internal policies and procedures and ensure full down-the-line compliance with legal aspects and procedures;
 Approve projects progress periodically and assure that the projects are progressed within their budgets and contractual milestones;
 Plan project contracts realization strategy; in coordination with the management and all related teams; including contracts structure, financing, pricing, liabilities, payment terms, cash flow, and terms and conditions

Achievements:

 Participated in the founding of El Sewedy Technology company to be El Sewedy Electric’s arm in the fields of Datacenters, Smart cities, Information and security management, and cloud solutions in the MENA region.
 Assigned as a Tenders Manager for El Sewedy Technology, in parallel to my current role responsibilities, during the first 9 months from its establishment through which we were awarded three (3) Megaprojects.
 Achieved savings of multi-million dollars through renegotiating existing contracts, defending claims from contracting parties, agreeing on variations and EOT claims, and successful resolution of disputes with various contracting parties.
 Applied a commercial audit system for the running projects;

Projects: Upper Zakum 750-ADNOC, EXPO 2020 Dubai, Emaar Opera Towers, Clean Fuels Project - Thailand, Marjan Increment Project-ARAMCO, Ain Tsila Development Project-SONATRACH, Karbala Refinery Project, DUQM Refinery Project - ORPIC, Waste Heat Recovery Project-ADNOC and Emaar Creek Towers.

 Advised senior management on challenges due to changing legal requirements or client, subcontractors, or partners' non-compliance with contracts.
 Created and implemented contract templates and master documents, processes, and tools to maintain workflow.
 Managed contract administration activities closely with all projects teams and provided all due contractual consultation ensuring that the contractual rights are well reserved and maintained;
 Prepared/Assessed claims and change notices; including coordination with planning teams for time impact and delay analysis, development of market studies, and management of claim negotiations ensuring alignment with the contract and provide recommendations upon detailed study.
 Applied dispute avoidance and resolution techniques when disputes arose;
 Liaised with projects’ stakeholders to solve all contract issues and facilitate negotiation of terms and conditions.

Achievements:

 Achieved savings of multi-million dollars by defending claims from clients, consortium partners, and subcontractors.
 Generated additional revenues through agreeing on variations, EOT claims, and successful resolution of disputes with clients and consortium partners.
 Was selected amongst twenty (20) employees for best achievements for the year 2017.

 Provided the required support to the project and commercial managers for the project’s commercial aspects.
 Developed and administered the main contract and subcontracts agreements, and their extensions.
 Was responsible for the preparation of the initial budget and budget revisions throughout the term of the project.
 Served as technical liaison with client on project efforts and coordinates technical efforts within design areas.
