As acting maintenance manager my job description limited by
1-Prepare the daily maintenance work and follow up the daily service from ather departments.
2-Follow up the previntive maintenance action plan and implemented in the convenient time.
3-conduct sessions for the maintenance department such as, maintenance standard cods and standards.
4-To attend my self all interconteninatl sessions to update my information about the engineering standards.
5-Responsibility for the planning, administration and coordination of Fire, Life and Safety (FLS) programs within the property to ensure compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations and standards concerning fire and life safety, as well as applicable standards set forth by (IHC).
Responsible of the engine room for 8 hours daily in split shift with 6 tecnecians to maintain all machinary running in good condition and in save way all the time, include the trouble and the trouble shooting might be happened during the watching time.
Responsible of all training sessions for the jouniars engineers.
Responsible of the life safety of the ship and the cargo onboard.
Responsible of the preventive maintenance and the routine maintenance to maintain all machines running all the time in good condition
Responsible of the spare parts, store, purchasing, orders
Marine Engineering consist of all the studies related to Mechanical Engineering including the marine machines as well.
