• Oversaw the preparation and submitting of Technical & Commercial Proposals for EPC, BOT and ECI tenders which are in Saudi Arabia.
• Tenders were submitted for leading Clients in KSA like SEVEN, Qiddiya, ROSHN, MISK, NEOM, RCU, SBF and ARAMCO. Sectors of Infrastructure, Museums, Buildings, Roads & Bridges and Multi-Purpose structures/stadiums were the main categories of such proposals.
• Providing the construction support for awarded projects in KSA by following up the method of execution for variable disciplines / trades of the project,
• Oversaw the submission of Proposals of 80 heavy Civil Works’ tenders with values ranging from ($150 m) up to ($2.8 bn) for projects that were in MENA, GCC and North Africa regions. These tenders were categorized under EPC, BOT and DBOM schemes, in addition to Contracts falling under Construction and Lump Sum basis.
• Proposals were mainly for Infrastructures, Sewage and Water Treatment Plants tenders, specifically As-Samra WWTP Phase 2 which was executed by Morganti/CCC and As-Samra WWTP Phase 3, DBOM of Al Dhakhira STP, Sea water intakes such as MOD Intake of West Qurna Oil Field, pumping stations, and water Conveyance systems such as Wadi Arab Water System II.
• In addition to submitting Railways tenders such as Ghweifat-Ruwais Rail of Ithad Rail with 330Km railway, and & Metro tenders such as Greater Cairo Metro Line 3 which is composed of 20 Km and 15 Metro station, Doha metro Stations …etc.), roads and industrial buildings tenders.
• I have also coordinated with the QA/QC department for the review and issuance of the Quality Management Procedure and Department Instruction Manual for Sales, Estimation & Proposals Department (Civil).
• Acting Resident Engineer (RE) to direct the supervision staff for the construction works of the Expansion Projects for Cold Crystallization Plant (CCP) at Dead Sea in Jordan. The expansion was made to reach a total production capacity of 450, 000 tpy, and the erection of a new compaction plant to produce more than 260, 000 tpy
• Managing the completion of Phase II of a new product warehouse at Safi site, with a nominal potash storage capacity of 40, 000 tons, new underground hopper, belt conveyors for the transport of potash from the refineries to the new warehouse.
Oversaw the office works and construction activities of piping works of the Restructuring & Rehabilitation of Greater Amman Water Supply System project (Contract 15), with a net value exceeding $65m.
Supervised the completion of site preparation for sixteen (16) reinforced concrete ground storage reservoirs with capacities ranging from 1000 to 25000 m3, installation and commissioning of 60 KM of ductile iron primary transmission mains with sizes ranging from 150 mm to 1400 mm, 360 KM of 150 mm to 800 mm DIA ductile iron secondary distribution mains.
• Oversaw the construction, commissioning and handing-over activities of structures and piping works of the Restructuring & Rehabilitation of Greater Amman Water Supply System project (Contract 9).
• My duties covered the preparation, submission and granting the Clients approval of all structures, pipeline, and electromechanical shop drawings. In addition to the preparation & submission of technical submittals, follow up of these submittals with the consultant and employer.
• Completing the construction activities of all civil works for 13 Ground reservoirs of a capacity reaching to 12000m3, and Four Elevated Towers Reservoirs of a capacity of 500m3 for each. In addition to the installation of 25 km of DI primary mains.
• Directing the construction of 2200m2 Gas Filling Station for the Upgrading of Amman L.P.G. Filling Hall Station Project with a Contract Value of 10 mil. US$, and the Client was Jordan Petroleum Refinery Company LTD,
• Oversaw the excavation of 15000 m3, and backfilling of 55000 m3 of the existing natural ground to reach up the required levels. Follow up the construction of civil works for a 2200m2 Gas Filling Hall platform.
• The work included cable and mechanical trenches, different types of pits and mechanically toweled ground slab, in addition to internal drainage lines, manholes, and the construction of an 1100m2 storage area.
• I have started my work as a Site Engineer and reached to the position of Project Manager. During these 10 years, I have executed and completed several projects within North and Middle Jordan Valley of Jordan.
• The main projects were Tabqat Fahel Water Supply Project - stage II with a value of $10m, which has included 600m2 Pump House, 2000m3 capacity reservoir, and external retaining walls, yards, and fences.
• Upgrading and Rehabilitation of King Abdullah Canal, with the Value of $14m for a length of 110Km.
• North Ghors Conversion Project with a total contract Value of $30m. I was responsible for the completion of all concrete structures and external civil works of for Eight Pumping Station, a 4000m3 Head Pond, 10 units of Operators Dwelling Blocks (ODB's), and the installation of 4 km of R/C wash out pipelines of 700mm to 1200mm DIA, wash out manholes, and protection rip rap works.
