As a Technical support specialist I’m responsible for technical enablement and providing technical help to Account Managers, System Engineers and Cisco Partners and other members of field sales teams for driving product sales:
Responsibilities
• Work with field sales teams to position appropriate networking/Security solutions and establish value proposition in a competitive environment based on the gathered requirements.
• Ability to Qualify a Deal based on the Bill or Material, RFP and customer requirements.
• Educate field sales staff on technical capabilities and features of proposed products
• Doing demonstrations of products and solutions that differentiates from competitors and show the features of the product live to customers.
• Ability to compare and differentiate solutions based on features and customer business requirements.
• Identify new opportunities, and support technical pre-sales activities to opportunity closure
• Commitment to document all information captured on sales engagements effectively in the guided tool and format.
• Building Bill of Material and present to sales organization
• Develop over all technical & communications competency for successful pre-sales technical support to field sales organization
• Building Influential Relationships: Working collaboratively with customers, channel partners, and account team members to meet business goals and objectives
• Engage with Sales team to participate in conference/TP calls with customer/partners for opportunity & synergy discussions
• Maintain and present KPI and statistical data for sales performance, Win/Loss analysis and revenue as and when required.

•Cisco Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS/IDS).
•Cisco Content Security and Control (CSC).
•Context Aware Security for all next generation ASAs (CX)
