• Carrying out detailed engineering work for each project assuming entire responsibility for conceptual and detailed design.
• Review ITB (Invitation To Bid) documents, issue inquiry requisitions, review techno-commercial vendor offers, prepare equipment, material takeoffs and man-hour estimates.
• Development of detailed engineering drawings including the Single Line Diagrams, Load schedules, Schematic Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Hazardous Area Classification, Equipment Layouts, Cable Routing Drawings, Cable Trench/Tray Layout Drawings, Lighting System Layout and Details, Earthing/Lightning System Layout and Details, Installation Standard Drawings, and other required drawings for client approval.
• Perform design calculations for earthing, lightning protection, lighting, cable sizing, breaker sizing etc. using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
• Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers and Drafters for preparation of drawings.
• Preparation of technical inquiry requests (Inquiry Requisitions) to vendors, technical evaluation of vendor bid offers, review vendor drawings and documents, ensure vendor equipment specifications meet with client equipment specifications and are within budgeted costs.
• Interface with the client (when required) and other project team members for all aspects of electrical works in a project from initial planning to all stages of execution and submittal of packages.
• Providing necessary technical information for procurement in compliance with tender specifications/data sheets and within budgeted costs, man-hour and project schedules.
• Provide clarification and guidance and technical support for construction activities associated to the project.
• Technical knowledge of engineering standards such as IEC, NEC, SABIC, ARAMCO etc.

• Selection of electrical equipment for waste water and combined effluent treatment plants.
• Design of medium and low voltage power distribution networks.
• Design of complete electrification works that include Substation, MCC Panels, LV and ELV Switchboards, Indoor Lighting, External Lighting, Power Circuits, Earthing System, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Networks, Communication Systems, Local Area Networks etc.
• Development of detailed drawings of all electrical systems that include layout plans, single line diagrams, riser diagrams etc.
• Development of electrical design philosophy, functional description, budgetary cost estimates, bill of quantity and tender specifications etc.
• Coordination with other related vendor, department and discipline for electrical issues.
• Top Supervision and visits to sites as required during the progress of work.
• Energy audit of different industrial sectors, and recommendation for rectifying the wastage of electrical energy in various areas of the distribution system, motors etc.
