• Review all the proposals raised from the Islamic division, and make
recommendation to appropriate approval authorities.
• Involve in stressed accounts restructuring by direct negotiations with the

• Coordinate with other departments which involve in granting credit e.g.
investment, corporate financing, to analyze work procedures and processes
followed, thus to incorporate them in form of credit policies and procedures
for the bank.

• Prepare security documents templates in coordination with legal department
and Sharia board.
• Independently interact with Bank’s key clients and international business
contacts. Conduct business meetings from a credit perspective. Adopt a
balanced position, oriented towards development of financial solutions for

requirements and structure credit facilities in line with the Bank’s policies.
• Give lectures in Islamic banking to trainees within EmiratesNBD training
center.

2001. During my period with Arab Bank - Jordan. I was part of the team how
handle the entire credit proposal that arise from Arab Bank - Lebanon and UAE.
In January 2001 I was nominated to relocate to Abu Dhabi to be part of the team
how was responsible of establishing an Area Management Department for the
purpose of expediting the approval process of the credit proposals, the
establishment processes included the development of the credit policies in light of

During period with Arab Bank - UAE my responsibility was to handle all credit
function for Sharjah and Dubai branches.
