I have a new post and will be starting the onboarding process this week. I will be teaching Grade 12 and A Levels English Language and literature using the American Curriculum. Lessons are usually an hour long and either 1 on 1 or a Small Group, max 10 students in the group.
I will be monitored and appraised online.
I will be fully trained in lesson delivery, administration, and creating a strong, and long-term bond with students until students have graduated and are ready for university. I will be expected to write reports, and establish relationships with parents to discuss progress and concerns.
Teach English Second Language adult students Business English communication.
Prepare Power points/ use coursework books.
Teach levels A1/A2, B1/B2, and C1 English to German and some Russian students.
Administer final exit level exams, invigilate, give feedback and write a report to Project Managers.
Take attendance and upload it to the company's payroll system.
Provide students with a study guide for final exams.
Create Teams meetings for those who are unable to access the company's virtal platform.

Assessment: Formative: Classwork. Summative: written examinations and projects and mini-assignments
Administrative: use power school to record daily attendance/issue i-reports/ input of scores and report cards once termly.
Teaching: Learning support as in Skills and planning and after-school tuition to students falling behind.
Team collaboration and weekly department meetings. Peer shadowing and observation.
Hosting clubs.
Attending and chaperoning student activities such as halloween night.
Marking the British Columbia entrance exams scripts and invigilation during semester exams.

I aught grade 8 and 9, arts and culture, Natural science and Technology.
It was quite a challenging but very informative degree. I complete modules and a mini dissertation, which was a case study of a workplace literacy program and its implementation of the Skills act, Skills Levy act, and the National Qualifications Framework. It was both a qualitative and quantitative study.
I achieved a grade that allowed me to get accepted into the Master's program. During this time, I volunteered to teach at a company called the EDCON Group. I taught numeracy level 2 to adult students. I also volunteered to teach adults literacy and numeracy levels 1 and 2.
