Maintains a legal and contractual liaison between the RC, Contractor and SAPL Management.
Manages contract administration functions on post award and provide consultation on contractual obligations.
Works on preparation of Request for Proposal, verification of accuracy of bid packages.
Assist in processing claims, back charges, and invoices.
Supports authorized Representative in preparation and negotiations of contract modifications.
Coordinates with Senior Resident Construction Manager and Resident Construction Engineers relating to field administration of contracts.
Responsible for the timely preparation of legal and contractual documents such as Letters of Instructions (LOIs), Contract Change Orders / Modifications, Insurance Documents, Sub-Contractor Approval packages, Certificate of Final Acceptance (COFA), and other legal or contractual packages as needed.
Prepares and negotiates cost impacts and schedule changes with Contractor for contract Change Orders /
Modifications - as a member of the Construction Negotiation Team
Prepares contract initial and final acceptance, certificates of maintenance and coordinates contract close out.
Communicate with AE contractor on all contractual and administrative issues.
Coordinate with the client, suppliers & subcontractors and provide project management and contract administration support to ensure completion on time and within budgets and cost control.
▪ Ensure that terms of the contract are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
▪ Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress
▪ Monitor and ensure optimum utilization of resources and implement action plans to deliver substantial cost reductions. ▪ Review and streamline operational procedures improving overall efficiency, productivity and safety of all activities related to the project
▪ Support development of multiple Cost / Schedule driven Contracting Scenarios for feeding into effective Contracting Strategy workshops.
▪ Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress
▪ Prepare business cases for various expansion proposals including feasibility study reports, HAZOP reports and project risk management (PRM) reports.
▪ Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, securing favorable terms & conditions and best return on investment for the company
▪ Develop Bid Evaluation Plans, Procedures and Models for evaluating Technical Bid and Price Bids ▪ Ability to prepare and edit contracts between company and suppliers, subcontractors
▪ Lead negotiations with suppliers & subcontractors for obtaining budgetary quotations for complex requests for equipment, supplies and services.
▪ Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner
▪ Assess contract agreements to identify and recommend amendments of existing contracts
▪ Establishing policies and strategies to manage the sub-contracting processes in the most effective way.
▪ Support the management team in handling major change orders and claims and negotiations with EPC Subcontractors
▪ Coordinate on legal issues with Legal department ▪ Establish procedures of transferring Contracts to Operations after demo of Project team
▪ Promote inter-departmental communications and encourages teamwork.

▪ Draft contractual provisions based on strategy discussions, senior management input, and organizational needs and expectations.

▪ Deliver procurement training to employees every month
▪ Oversee organizational contract development and management activities, and enforce organizational principles of integrity and compliance.
