Overall control and monitoring of the accomplishments of the project’s milestones, ensuring that the project is delivered on time within scope & budget. • Act as the Client’s main contact with the Company maintaining an effective, positive and professional relationship with the Client • Responsible for defining the roles and responsibilities of different team members for all projects assigned to the incumbent • Develop a detailed project plan to track project’s progress, using appropriate techniques .
• Plan, Coordinate and review the Design, procurement & construction activities, throughout the project within National Grid- SA standards, budgeted cost and contract completion period, taking necessary corrective actions to meet and exceed the expectations of the Client including follow up with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Supervising & Coordinating the Installation / Testing & Commissioning of all HV, MV & LV equipment in addition to HVAC & Firefighting System .
• Closing Punch list comments prior Energization
• Coordinate with Designer, vendors, manufacturers and client to ensure that all equipment, design and construction activities are as per requirement including attending Factory acceptance tests (FAT) when required.
• Report and escalate to Top management as needed.
• Provide the required leadership to assist the project team and field supervisory personnel as required, driving the decision making to the lowest level possible
• Conduct meetings with internal departments, Vendors, Subcontractors, to ensure that the project is progressing as scheduled, prepare the Minutes of the Meeting and follow up actions.
• Review/ approve project related materials requisitions, BOQs & Purchase Orders
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Construction of Tarut SS 115/13.8 KV

• Supervising the Installation / Testing & Commissioning of 115 KV GIS, 115/13.8KV Power Transformers, 13.8 KV Switchgear, Capacitor Banks, Battery/Battery Chargers, Service Station Transformers, AC/DC Panels, Control Panels, Lighting, Shielding, Grounding, HVAC & Firefighting System
• Plan, coordinate and review the progress of the Design, procurement & construction activities, taking necessary corrective action to meet and exceed the expectations of the Client including follow up with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Management of manpower & Equipment on assigned works.
• Ensuring that all site activities are conducted as per IFC shop drawings, PTS requirements and schedule, maintaining both Quality & Safety
• Ensuring Cost Control
• Attending All Official Project’s Meetings with National Grid SA
• Preparing / checking Bill of quantities and Purchase Orders
• Preparing weekly progress and expenditure reports
• Preparing project related materials requisitions
• Following up the closing of Electrical, Mechanical, Civil & ISD Punch lists.


## Islanding detection and Improvement Project
(Saudi Aramco / National Grid-SA) ‘Electrical Site Engineer’
Enhance the existing islanding detection systems at 7 Saudi Aramco power plants to include the remote end circuit breakers in the islanding schemes
• Monitor the Installation / termination of communication/control cables
• Supervise Functional Tests (Simulate Breaker Statuses)
• Testing of new signaling panels under supervision of vendor (ABB)
