1. planning sales activity and includes participation in setting goals and draw sales within the company as policies for products (cars) and make recommendations regarding the development and introduction of new products or services, and policies for price, distribution, advertising and promotion and communication with target markets and determine the strategic vision and mission.
2. Organization of the sales activities including organizing sales efforts through the development of effective regulatory structure from reps and supervisors, sale, marketing and distribution and identify tasks for everyone in the marketing department.
3. Implementation of sales activities identified in the strategic plan of selling policies and marketing.
4. Supervise the efforts of the men of the sale, marketing and distribution, advertising and directed properly.
5. Coordination of sales activities with other departments such as procurement and inventory, production and finance.
Automotive sales managers run the entire sales team’s dealerships. Since it is an intensely competitive industry, these managers are responsible for developing campaigns, marketing plans and other effective techniques for their company to excel among the rest. Aside from thinking of innovative ways to sell cars, the auto sales manager also help in endorsing the company. Other tasks of the sales manager include maintaining the allotted budget, employing and training new staff, mastering the features of all cars in their lot, entertaining car buyers and handling customer complaints or inquiries. The auto sales manager also completes vehicle inventories, sales reports and invoices, and other documents released under his/her watch.
