Assisted in starting, and co-managed a furniture factory; led a team of ~20 persons including Carpenters, painters and metal workers.
Handled the day to day operations from raw materials supply to delivery.
Reducing operational costs, delivering high quality products and consistently improving the team performance are my key strength.
Taking care of the day to day operations, from material handling, orders processing to deliveries, in order to ensure the factory runs at an efficiency level and achieve all output targets in terms of quantity, quality, yield and wastage; major duties:
- Responsible of purchases, choosing the right supplier for the most suitable goods at the best factor (price, delivery time, payment terms and goods quality).
- Following up and supervision for all sites, coordinating with architects and assuring the right execution of works.
- Planning production activities and machine maintenance schedules.
- Maintaining budgets, foreseeing solutions, updating technology and reducing operating costs.
- Ensuring that the safety standards are being maintained.
- Supervising of about 50 employees including carpenters, painters, upholstery, drivers and stock keepers.
