Consistently report to the Group CEO with executive leadership and accomplish the strategic, financial and operational management of the Group’s output across 9 separate manufacturing plants in 4 countries with a $500M annual turnover. Function with the General Managers across the Group subsidiaries under Food, FMCG and Industries and tasked with the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of a continuous process improvement methodology across all global operations which include fiscal responsibility for the company’s capital expenditure strategy to align expenditure to the group’s strategic growth plan.
• Spearheaded the successful turnaround of 3 companies from Multi Million USD loss to positive bottom line through a balanced focus on operation’s re-engineering, go to market strategy, van sales optimisation and product mix strategy.
• Reduced the operations cost of manufacturing facilities by 10% year on year, increased the productivity per manhr for all products by 25%, and developed 5-year plan for all 9 plants from capital investment to operational requirements.
• Increased van sales revenue by 25% through selling the right mix and maximising gross margin.
• Led several major projects, which included the achievement of ISO 22, 000 for all 9 plants, the complete SAP implementation for P2P, P2I, and S2C and the implementation of SOP’s for all water, meat, and snacks businesses.
• Directed numerous business critical programmes including the state of the art water plant build in Qatar with a capacity of 150M bottles annually as well as the implementation of business master plan in 3 separate country territories.
