Reporting to the Managing Director, my job is to manage the Commercials of the MENA O&M business unit including Business Development, Procurement and Contracts Management functions.

• Achieve 50% average yearly growth in the turnover and 45% in the portfolio
• Achieve 45% win ratio at a 75% participation rate
• Achieve 95% retention rate of existing Clients
• Plan and Implement commercial improvement initiatives

Reporting to the Country Manager, my job was to manage all owned and leased facilities of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, which is a portfolio of more than 300 Schools and administration buildings including the Ministry’s new Headquarters. In charge of the Commercial, Operations, Customer Relations, QHSE and HR Work Streams of this strategic, first of its kind government FM Managing Agent contract in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Successfully takeover the complete portfolio within aggressive timelines
• Develop 35 nos. FM consultancy deliverables
• Agree and implement Client procurement strategy
• Successfully Manage Client relationship
• Implementation and operate a new CAFM system and Helpdesk function
Reporting to the JV Board, my job was to co-manage along with the Project Director, the execution and the delivery of the MEP scope of the Red Line South Elevated and At Grade package, part of Doha Metro Project of an approximate value of QR 250M and a duration of 15 Months.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Management of the Engineering, Commercial and Construction teams
• Over 200 Engineering, Support and Administration staff
• Over 1, 100 labourer and supervision staff
• Represent the JV in the absence of the Project Director
• Liaise with JV board on a regular basis and attend JV board meetings
• Insure the implementation of the JV agreement
Reporting to the General manager, my job was to manage the Estimation team of the two business lines of the Company, MEP Engineering & Construction and Facilities Management. It was also my job to liaise with our Clients, negotiate our offers and close deals in coordination with the General Manager. In addition to my role as the Tenders Manager, I was the Account Manager for our key FM Clients.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
• Bidding MEP and FM tenders up to QAR 1.4Bn
• Winning bids up to QAR 135M in total
• Achieving ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certification
Reporting to the General Manager, my job was to manage the FM Operations throughout the complete lifecycle starting from Tender acceptance to Bid preparation to Contract negotiation and Award to Initiation and service delivery. In addition to my role as FM Operations Manager, I was the Account Manager for our Key Clients.

• Prepare Facilities management proposals (up to QAR 130M)
• Negotiation and finalization of contracts with clients
Reporting to the General Manager, my job was to manage the FM Contract with MEEZA, one of our key FM Clients. During my time in this position I had the most extensive experience gain in my whole career. I was shifting from Construction to FM Operation with a lot to catch-up with in a very short period of time. I had to undergo a very busy training program while assuming my job responsibilities which made the experience even more rewarding.

Reporting to the Project Manager, I was in charge of all electrical works in the organization’s projects and mainly in “The Pearl Qatar” project. I was exploring and developing my managerial skills and drifting away from the technical responsibilities. I was complemented several times by my superiors about my managerial capabilities, especially in multi-cultural environments where communication and adaptation are keys for success.
I was also in charge of technical submittals and procurement of electrical systems in “Porto Arabia, The Pearl - Qatar” project.
This was my first full time job. I was trusted fairly quickly with the management of our construction team in addition to my technical responsibilities in the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
