Below were my duties as a Junior Accountant at the University of Education, Winneba - Ghana
*Preparation of bi-weekly Liquidity Report, Comprehensive Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position and all other Financial Statements
*Pricing, invoicing and billing to customers base on their request
* Processing and making payments to Suppliers, Statutory bodies and Staff
* Receiving money and issuing receipts to customers on payment
* Filing of all withholding Tax returns to Ghana Revenue Authority
* Managers company's account Receivables and Payable
* Preparation of Monthly and Annual budget
* Account and Bank Reconciliation
* Deposit all cash and cheques at the bank and perform other banking transactions
As an Internal Auditing Staff at University of Education, Winneba -Ghana
* Studying accounting records, preparing compliance report and supervising the organization workflow, while also offering recommendations for improvement
* Evaluate Financial documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations
* Identity the financial risks of the Organization and offer recommendations to reduce the risk
* Identity Accounting and Financial record keeping processes that can be improved
*Determine ways to cut-down cost and increase profitabilty
* Present findings to Management in a form of report and presentations
