COOP training in the company as a process engineer in SPCO (Saudi Polymer Company), worked closely with process chemists and control engineers while doing my COOP program to ensure that the olefins process plant is set up to provide maximum output levels and efficient running of the production facility. Heat exchangers efficiency were calculated and compared to the design values in order to decide either they need maintenance or not
COOP training in SABIC (KEMYA company) as a field operator in the olefins plant especially in the hot areas (cracking furnaces).
The highest GPA scored among all the graduates in my major (first honor). Senior project: modification of a normal ethylene cracking distillation process plant to a hybrid membrane-distillation in the ethylene separation section and applying mass and energy balances and design calculations with cost reduction. Diploma project: making a water solar boiler by placing solar cells to increase the water temperature and convert it to steam. Water treatment course was taken as an elective subject which covers mainly dissolved suspended solids and how to reduce them in processing water. A member of Saudi engineering council, NACE international and the American Institute for Chemical Engineering (AICHE). COOP training in Kemya and S-Chem companies were completed with A+ grade
