• responsible for coordinating, creating, and implementing curriculum for the Literacy Intervention Program

• worked collaboratively with colleagues to insure implementation of IEP goals and objectives in the general education classrooms to ensure optimal success for these struggling students
• member of the RTI, 504, and ARD committee which required input in appropriate intervention strategies for struggling and at-risk students and a member of the CPI team
• inputted grades and attendance into Skyward on a daily/weekly basis
• attended state and local conferences for Special Education, Dyslexia, and Reading which gave all the newest techniques and latest data on effective teaching techniques
• earned Teacher of the Month Award by our Math Consultant, Ms. Ralynn Earnest
• inclusion teacher in the general education classroom assisting special needs students
