Lead HSE Engineer - EPC "SPLITTING OF 18 INCH CONDENSATE PIPELINE FROM ASAB TO RUWAIS" - ADNOC GP
Chief Marine Engineer with responsibilities of Quality Control & Assurance, Health & Safety Environment Management towards all off Shore Oil & Gas projects.

• Act as the point of contact for all QHSE related matters.
• Liaising with customer’s auditors and ensuring the execution of correction, corrective and preventive actions and compliance with customer specifications.
• Verifying the implementation and operation of the QHSE systems, by planning and conducting Internal QHSE Audits.
• Monitor and Audit performance of suppliers and subcontracted services and ensuring performance is monitored against contracted KPI’s.
• Verifying the MAB’s QHSE policy, is fully understood, implemented, operated and maintained. • Ensure that subordinates comply with MAB’s policy, procedures and energy management system requirements.
• Review, update and control and the distribution of the company Quality & Health Safety, Emergency preparedness and Crisis Management, Fire & Safety Management and Energy Management Manuals, procedures and related forms in use.
• Liaise with the clients QHSE and management representatives, to ensure that all potential and actual QHSE issues are fully resolved.
• Ensure that MAB services meet both external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations.
• Defining QHSE procedures in conjunction with operation staff.
• Drafting / updating standards operating procedures as and when required as per company standards and Client requirements for final approvals and to implement it in area of concerns.
• Conduct Quality and HSE Risk management analysis and ensure controls are in place to minimize risks.
• Liaise with other departments throughout MAB to ensure that the QHSE system is functioning properly and where appropriate, advice on changes and their implementation and provide training, tools and techniques to enable other to achieve quality.
• Set QHSE Improvement objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved;
• Ensure that all subcontractors QHSE Systems and plans are acceptable to the company as applicable to a contract, and ensure that subcontractors / suppliers QHSE systems are implemented and effective.
• Assessing specification and its suppliers and comparing with customer requirements.
• Coordinate the activities required to meet quality and HSE standards.
• Monitor and advise on the performance of the HSE and Quality management system and produces data and report on performance, measuring against the set indicators;
• Approve specifications and Quality Control methods for checking.
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements and external suppliers. • Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislations; • Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
• Identifying relevant HSE and Quality related training needs and delivering trainings.
• Collating and analyzing performance data and charts against defined parameters.
• Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive QHSE procedures.
• Ensuring project risk assessment / job hazard analysis.
• Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are investigated and corrective actions implemented.
• Ensure all QHSE communications (i.e. QHSE meetings, Bulletins, Alerts, Magazine, Laws, and Regulation etc.) are effectively managed at all levels.
Important Highlights of Experience:
Successfully Completed 90+ QHSE Audits and 60+ QHSE Inspections of different Organisations / Departments / Processes / Sites as an Internal Quality Auditor and Technical Expert.
Participated 18+ 3rd Party / 2nd Party / Client Audits being an Auditee.
Successfully completed 2 years as Quality Engineer, Lead Quality Engineer and Lead Quality Auditor in UAE.
Certifications of Lead Quality Auditor, IMS Auditor, NEBOSH, NDT Level 2 and Electrical Engineer.
Certified Electrical Engineer by PEC (Pakistan Engineering Council).
Gained 2 years’ experience within the diversified industry in domains of Electrical Engineer, Site Engineer and Project Engineer.
Gained Experience in Electrical Generation / Distribution, Oil & Gas, Fire & Gas and Maintenance.
Successfully completed 1 years in Field of Power plant Designing, Installation, Automation, Operation & Maintenance, also Transmission and distribution.
