Coming from being a national successful manufacturer and market leader to an international expert supplier of various food processing solutions and concepts for different kinds of use in
catering, gastronomy and food industry markets. Identifying end-users needs and requirements across Europe and establish a network of local partners.
Set up and execute a strategic plan for the development of a global distribution
network for the sales of a range of high tech meal distribution equipment, mainly
for the healthcare catering market and large scale catering organizations.
Area: Mainly all of Western Europe, Canada, Middle East and AsiaPacific. ( + 20
countries)
Commercial leadership: market analysis and development, sales forecasting,
commercial and technical training of local salesteams, management of customer
service and support team, project and pipeline management, contractual negociation support, "hands on" support involving 50% travel time, attending and participating at many local and global conferences, trade shows, seminars and
end-user meetings, CRM and monthly reporting to ISECO group management.
Results: Average order size €150K. Largest order €1.500K. Initial start in 2 countries
as sole operator to + 20 countries with 4fte in company team and +40 local sales
reps
Responsibility for all commercial activities in the Benelux countries. Market development and B to B product and project sales activities, including turnkey projects of professional catering equipment installations mainly in central food
production sites, gastronomy and healthcare catering facilities. Area: Mainly Benelux countries with some activities in Germany. Commercial leadership: Planning sales forecast, project management, recruiting and training of sales
team ( 4 fte). Frequent contacts and meetings with Dutch, Italian, British and French suppliers. CRM, coaching of new sales reps. Attending and participating at trade shows, professional associations, conferences. Monthly reporting to general manager.
Sales and promotion of a full range of high tech professional catering equipment,
mainly from French, Italian, British manufacturers. Responsibility for sales targets,
CRM, coaching new sales reps. Consultancy, design, sales and project management
for large scale catering facilities. Monthly reporting to general manager. Area:
Benelux countries.
Operational management and execution of catering activities and events. An absolute "hands on" job with a great variety of tasks and responsibilities.
Reporting daily to general manager. Leadership: Planning and monitoring of all F&B preparations for the scheduled events with the support local teams of logistic, culinary and technical staff. Result: optimal service and support for conferences, trade presentations, festivals and parties up to 2000 guests and the in-house
restaurant.
Coaching, monitoring and participating in all catering operations in the hotel with daily reporting to F&B manager. Leadership: Checking on all activities in all catering and conference areas. Scheduling staff shifts for 24 /7 planning. Weekly meeting with heads of departments and duty management role in weekends.
Additional 1 year study after a finalized a 4 year classic Hotel School study in Heerlen, The Netherlands. Unfortunately is after many removals in the last 35 years my certificate disappeared.
4 year study in Hospitality and F&B education, business administration, marketing and 3 languages ( English, German an french). Study trips to the wine areas in France and Germany, catering companies and Hotels. Including two 5 month Internship in Hotels in the UK and Belgium. Certificate will be made available shortly
6 year study according to the Dutch education system is practically equal to the A level UK curriculum. Besides these topics ( in the last two years) are there more subjects in the first 4 years. Certificate will be available shortly
