As students, we were rotated around the organisation, so as to get the grasp of goes on behind the scenes. I went through the housekeeping department, the front office and the food and beverage section as well as the purchasing and stores department.
Studied pastry, and completed my diploma in this course in June under the City and Guilds examination board.
completed a diploma in food preparation and cooking which paid particular attention on the variety of ingredients used in in preparation of a dish, it also focused on costing methods and menu planning to mention a few.
