1. Grade control production and reverse circulation drilling geology; involved in
* In pit mapping of hang walls and floors
* Defining polygon block boundaries for purposes of mine planning activities and
ensuring they are correctly staked out in the field. Working with relevant
stakeholders to ensure quality ore is sent to the crushers to optimize fleet and
crusher performance.
* Interpretation of geological block models for mining purposes.
* Manage grade control crews and personnel
* Chip logging, section interpretation and creating wireframes from log data and
creating block models using different data sets.
* Planning and staking of pegs for drill holes.
* Contractor management to ensure efficient execution of drilling patterns and
programs.
* QA/QC of samples collected and laboratory audits to ensure quality standards are
upheld and adhered to.
2. Resource diamond drilling (Brown field exploration)
* Planning of diamond drilling programs
* Logging of core and produce cross section interpretation.
* Organizing and supervising field works, including soil geochemistry sampling
programs and completing QA/QC on all data and samples collected.
* Contractor management to ensure efficient execution of the programme.
* Creating wireframes from sections.
* Drilling pad preparation and site/rehabilitation.

Had my final year special research project on Geotechnical domain classification at Kansanshi Mining PLC. * Successfully completed a mapping class exercise in third year (2011). * Best third year geology student (2011). * Best overall third year student in the school of mines (2011). * Successfully completed an independent geological surface mapping exercise in fourth year (2012). * Attended and successfully completed ENVI Remote Sensing training that was conducted by the Geological Survey of Finland (2012).
