Monitor quality process objectives (quality KPIs monitoring through statistical process control to conduct “root-cause analysis” and continuous improvement in the search for zero defect).

QM representatives in addition to duties required by ISO 9001:
- ensure Quality Management System processes are “established, implemented and maintained”
- ensure that everyone in the organisation is aware of customer requirements.
