Arrange all Traction Power and HV installations such 33KV Switchgears, Rectifier Transformers, Inverter Transformers, Rectifier Panels, Inverter Panels, Negative Feeder Panels, Positive Isolator Panels, 750DC Switchgears, LCC with ITB panels, Auxiliary Transformers, LV Panels, UPS Panels and Batteries
- Coordinate with Civil and MEP Contractors for all Site Activities in terms of Access, Clashing, Interface points with Energy works, etc.
- Manage Subcontractors for all Installation, Cable Pulling, Termination, and internal testing.
- Coordinate with Design team for all related Energy design in terms of Actual Site Condition Vs Design drawing, change whatever possible on site to match the minimum Design requirement, etc.
- Prepare weekly progress report to check the actual progress compared with the Planned progress.
- Prepare monthly report to explain the progress and the technical inquiries.
- Site visits in regular periods to compare the site work with the design.

Project: Doha metro project, Red Line, Green Line, Gold Line, Blue Line.

-Handling all MEP activity Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, BMS, CCTV, Access controls, Intercom, PA/VA system, SMATV, IPTV, Structure cabling, Telephony system, all related low current systems enquiry, drainage, Fire fighting, smoke management, central gas, etc.
-Reporting directly to MEP Manager.
-Reviewing equipments and materials submittals and providing final approval.
-Preparing the Value Engineering, Cost estimation, schematics diagrams, system raiser diagram & compliance statements.
-Preparing prequalification & submittals.
-Responsible to move and act fast to provide solutions to the problems related to the projects.
-Responsible for generating enquiries, estimation of project cost and finalization of order.
-Follow up with consultant for materials approvals including presentation, product prequalification & technical support.
-Project payment follow-up.
-Following up with authorities for approvals and regulations.
-Attending site progress meetings to follow up site progress and providing technical advice for any issues rise.
-Interacting with suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to ensure timely and quality approved completion of work.
-Conducting sites inspections to review installation quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Supervise the construction team and solve any problem at site.
- Coordinate with the other phase’s Contractors to arrange all related works.
- Attend the Client weekly meeting to discuss the progress at site and the Shop -Drawings.
- Attend coordination meeting with the other System contractors such as Envac to arrange all the related requirements.
- Reporting directly to the MEP Manager.

- Site coordination between MEP subcontractors with Civil & architectural trades.
- Ensure that all MEP works are conducted as per project Specification and approved shop drawings.
- Ensure that all the works are completed on time, notifying the Construction Manager of any potential delays.
- Oversee all aspects of the day-to-day construction management of the area of responsibility of the project.
- Instigate the project planning and review of progress against targets set.
- Co-ordinate the work of all in-house staff, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Monitor station construction progress and checking for hand over from clients along project stages.
Arrange all site installations (cable ladder, cable tray, cable trunck) and cable laying, dressing, termination works inside the Traction Power Substation and outside it such as Platform Screen Door, Automatic Fare Collection, D.C Traction Power for positive 3rd rail and negative running rail, UPS and 33KV going to substation.
Manage subcontractor to match the targeted installations to achieve the scheduled project plan.
Coordinate with the other contractors for the other services such as plumbing and HVAC.
Supervise design team to match the design requirement and the time schedule as per the project plan.
Monitor the progress in the design team to match the target based on the internal plan.
Monitor the design changes compared with the basic design received from the client.
Prepare Quotations based on the design changes, number of working hours, and the manpower.
Prepare monthly report to explain the progress and the technical inquiries.
Attend all client meetings and the internal meetings to match the client’s targets and the project plan.
Site visits in regular periods to compare the site work with the design.
Cooperate with the client design team to solve the design issues on site.

Update and prepare the As Built Drawing for the final BOQ and Final measurement.

Power Design as Per DEWA & ADEWA latest regulations.
Lighting design (Lux Level Calculations) as per CIBSE requirements
Voltage Drop Calculations and Cable Tray Sizing.
Central Battery System design including CBU sizing and allocation.
Power load calculations as load Schedules.
Prepare Single line Diagram as Per DEWA & ADWEA latest regulations.
Short Circuit Calculations.
Capacitor bank and Power factor calculations.
Telephone & Data System design as per Etisalat, UTT & DU requirements.
Low current systems design ( CCTV, Intercom System, Home Automation, Access control system…)
Fire Alarm Design. (fire detection)
