Modeling structural concrete and steel elements (concept and schematic design) using Revit, producing structural design drawings using Revit. Create content for structural Revit libraries. Editing and preparing structural design drawings using CAD.
Responsibilities include modeling Structural elements for BIM collaboration, collaborate with drafters/modelers from other Engineering disciplines, ie. Architectural, MEP for possible design drawing conflicts, raising and incorporating RFI's, perform clash checks using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
Responsibilities include stick modeling of commercial, industrial and mining projects, applying connections, creating custom components, raising and incorporating RFI's, creating, editing and detailing workshop drawings, GA's and part drawings and preparing reports, BIMSight models, creating NC and DXF files.
Responsibilities include modeling and editing connections, editing workshop drawings and GA drawings.
Develops system components using Tekla Structures' SDK and C/C++ for steel and precast. Editing templates, reports, adding new profiles, materials, and bolts to the library, adding UDA's and performing other tasks related to system settings for steel. Provides technical support to precast modelers and detailers. Editing rebar configurations, bar bending schedule and performing other tasks related to customizing system settings for Precast and RC. Develop/update/edit/troubleshoot applications and programs using C# and Oracle SQL queries, Visual basic and VBA specifically for MS Excel for design calculations.
As QA/QC, monitors the materials used in the project, making sure it conforms to the material specifications set by the Architect, the Contractors and the Project Manager. Inspect ceiling and drop wall installations making sure it follows the approved shop drawings submitted to the Architect before coordinating with the Contractor’s QA Manager for final inspections.
As AutoCAD operator, prepares all the shop drawings submitted to the General Contractor, subject for their approval before commencing with the installations.
Responsibilities include site inspection for progress evaluation and for progress billings; cost and quantity estimations for upcoming projects; evaluates project costs from time to time making sure actual costs meets estimated and projected costs without compromising the quality of material and labor; coordinated with suppliers for material costs and deliveries, as a purchasing officer; also handles weekly construction payrolls.
