1. Fill medication orders (oral, external, etc.) and make them ready for checking by a staff pharmacists assigned.
2. Unit dose repacking and compounding pharmaceuticals.
3. Prepares medication labels as stated in the policy of NGHA.
4. Participates in stock control programs (inventory and monitoring usage) using oracle system
5. Monitors expiration dates.
6. Maintains clean working environment including IV rooms (laminar flow hoods and counters tops.), dispensing area and pre-packing area, compounding area.
7. Prepare TPN for neonates and adults, IV admixture and chemotherapy preparation.
8. Do floor stocks and units inspection to all wards.
9. Fill the medicines cassette for inpatient good for 24hr and make ready for checking by a assigned pharmacist(using Quadramed system)
10. Performs other task as by my assigned staff Pharmacist or area Supervisor.
1 .Reading, preparing and dispensing medication for out patient, counseling of patient as well.
2. Do compounding medication prescribe by physician, including TPN for neonates and adults.
3. Do floor stocks for all wards.
4. Ordering of stock as well as checking of expiry date.
5. Encoding of prescription in daily basis.
6. Preparing of inpatient medicines by unit dose system for 24hr
ready for delivery in the morning.
7. Counterchecking of inpatient medication with the medication nurse.
8 .Do other task as may be assigned by a staff pharmacist, supervisor and head of pharmacist.
1. Liscensing of drug establishment and outlet.
2. Dispensing and counseling of costumer.
3. Do inventory and ordering of stock.
4. Accounting of sale for the day.
5. Encoding of barcodes for new stock.
6. Handling the store in the absence of the manager.
7. Monitoring and ensure that sale clerk and other staff do their job well in the absence of manager.
8. Accounting the sale of the cashier on the end of the shift.
9. Do paper work related to the pharmacy.
10. Assisting the pharmacy assistant in dispensing, preparing and counseling of the patient.
