Role:
•Supervising spares planning and storing of inventory at branch stores vis-à-vis consumption so as to ensure customer & dealer satisfaction
•Resolving pending cases in case of non-availability of spares; ensuring minimal stock defectives in warehouse by timely clearing and repairing
•Certifying speedy resolution of queries and grievances, maintaining excellent relations with clients to generate avenues for additional business
•Developing and ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining excellent turnaround time (TAT) for delivery and standard service quality norms
•Managing entire customer care operations with a view to achieve business objectives; optimizing the maintenance of the spares to reduce the inventory cost
•Monitoring performance level of maintenance staff for ensuring superior customer service & accomplishment of service targets
•Maintaining daily reports regarding spare parts sales; conducting market investigations regarding pirate parts usage, pirate parts lifetime, price and manufacturing
•Implementing marketing strategy for the sale of genuine parts, accessories and so on
•Communicating product feedback from the field to principals with focus on effectuating modifications in products and improving product performance
•Understanding the related procedures such as warranty claims, major failure reports, customer complaint register, warranty service dues, inventory stock, price list for spares and so on
•Preparing discrepancy reports for the submission to the warehouse and distribution department
•Ensuring submission of proper documentation associated with warehouse transactions, deliveries and invoicing to customers and in-house departments
•Generating the tentative requirement for raw material in close coordination with the Sales Department
•Coordinating with:
•Customer support executive (Goods receipt, Offer Submission, Purchase Order Conversion, Invoicing, Outstanding follow-up)
•Stores In-charge (Manages Stores, Shelving, Physical Verification)
•Accountant (payment adjustment customer invoice wise, monthly physical stock verification)
Highlights:
•Managed 3 warehouses at Panvel, Jamnagar &Ahmadabad and supervised activities including inventory management & stock checking on monthly basis
•Reduced inflated inventory costs by 10 to 15% and decreased obsolescence by establishing ongoing inventory counts
•Conducted periodic analysis of current spare parts rooms and inventory levels to determine parts actually needed
