Site HSE Manager for projects at QatarEnergy at Refining and Gas processing, Mesaieed
Successfully completed a upgradation project for Truck loading facility and now managing HSE at EPC contract for 11 km pipeline for gasoline and upgradation at Qatar Energy refinery.

Key Result Areas:
•Suggesting & assisting the Site Manager, HODs and other persons in planning, organizing, controlling and maintaining the safe & healthy environment at work
•Checking & developing the health & safety plan with Corporate H&S Manager and communicating the plan at all levels of the site organization
•Accountable for implementing ISO 14001: 2004 & BS OHSAS 18001: 2007 standards and ensuring adherence to safety norms throughout the project life-cycle (involving construction to commissioning and project handover)
•Facilitating assistance & guidance to identify risk factors and assessing environmental impact for development of an integrated Health Safety & Environment Management Program to eliminate or minimize risk up to reasonable level and improve safety standards
•Rendering support to Site Safety Officers to check hazardous tasks & residual risks and implement safe system of work
•Conducting periodic health & safety audit / inspection and checking that audit recommendations are implemented within agreed timescales
•Providing support to investigate incident / accident, dangerous occurrence & near miss, determining their root causes and providing recommendation to improve recurrence prevention & control
•Assisting in generating Accident / Incident Investigation & Safety Performance Reports and analyzing them to achieve better safety standards, provide statistical summaries to Senior Management & Corporate Team and create attention for significant trends & occurrence
•Organizing Training & Safety Awareness Programs to develop awareness among internal & external agencies such as client’s representative, contractor, manager, engineer, supervisor and visitor

•Successfully overcame SIMOP challenges during the completion of QChem Project during pre-commissioning
•Executed several measures to identify deformities, malfunctions or abnormalities occurred during QChem SIMOPS

Developing & ensuring the implementation of integrated Management Systems as OHSAS and ISO at all phases (Planning, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning up to the Completion) of the project
•Conceptualizing Project HSE Plan as per Project & Corporate HSE Policies for continuous improvement
•Facilitating comprehensive advisory services to Chief Executives & Directors, Directorates and their employees on all matters affecting health, safety & environment at work and implementation of Project HSE Policy / Plan

•Monitoring project progress & outstanding issues and ensuring the quality & timeliness of the deliverables; extending support to team members by defining standard HSE practices
•Preparing training modules & materials and conducting safety kick-off meetings to create awareness about elimination of hazardous & unsafe conditions
•Developing various innovative solutions to avoid repetitive failure & all other problems that adversely affect operations including capacity, quality, cost & regulatory compliance issues
•Ensuring compliance with QA guidelines at various stages of project to achieve cost & waste reduction

•Carried out multi-tasking experience in sampling & chemical analysis (Chromatographic, Spectrophotometric & Colorimetric Analysis), reporting, process data collection and analysis
