Working in Asset engineering department to look after long-term rotating issues, optimize maintenance strategy, troubleshooting, carry out RCFA, shutdown preparation and prepare case study, presentation and report.
SUMMARY OF MY CAREER:
I have 17 years plus solid Mechanical Engineering experience especially in Rotating Equipment, Reliability Engineering, Project and Maintenance. I have worked as a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer, Shutdown Engineer, Sr. Project & Maintenance Engineer in Refineries, Petrochemical & LNG, Offshore plants on rotating equipment maintenance, engineering, equipment strategy, vibration analysis, troubleshooting, RCFA, project & engineering.
1) I have in-depth knowledge of Reliability Methodology, Equipment Strategy, Failure Analysis, Asset Verification, Material Management, Rotating Equipment Engineering & Maintenance, Project Management, Bad Actor, Meridium Software, RCFA, RCM, SAP-PM & MM Module, RTIS and Predictive Maintenance Knowledge mainly in vibration analysis.
2) Strong maintenance, engineering, reliability and project engineering experience in Rotating Equipment including maintenance mechanical seal, vibration analysis, condition monitoring, reliability, maintenance strategies, project, shutdown & turnaround in offshore rotating equipment.
3) Attended number of FAT and SAT including offshore Siemens Gas Turbine FAT at UK, centrifugal pumps FAT at South Korea, Spain, and Centrifuge FAT at Germany etc.
4) Prepared and presented number of monthly management reports and training modules to team to improve internal communication and increase knowledge by sharing among team.
5) Ability to lead junior engineer, maintenance technician and contract staff and provide guidance, advise to prepare proper maintenance plan for execution as per schedule and avoid repetitive maintenance and increase plant reliability and availability by implementing proper rotating equipment maintenance strategies.

ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Lead and successfully prevented many rotating equipment breakdown failure by using vibration analysis, RCM methodology and other condition monitoring technique.
• Executed, coordinated and supported many activities related to the DGS, rotor, coupling & bearing replacement, compressor overhaul, turbine maintenance inspection, troubleshooting, equipment strategy and bad actor.
• Prepared Rotating Equipment test plan & specification for FAT & SAT. Attended FAT test and ensured equipment design specification meet site and process requirement.
• Lead cross functional team and prepared Vibration Analysis/ RCFA / Bad Actor report on rotating equipment. Resolve many recurring chronic rotating equipment problems like performance degradation, mechanical sealing, high vibration issue, design & system problems etc.

ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER, Ras Gas LNG Company: 11 BSCF per Day Operator
Job Role: Rotating Equipment Engineering, Maintenance & Reliability; April 2007 - July 2016
WORK EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Involved and successfully completed schedule maintenance, major inspection and upgrade project of GE gas turbine, DGS system of compressor & Siemens SGT100 (Schedule Inspection, Fuel gas valve VGV actuator, Generator bearing replacement).
• Review vendor design documentation, mechanical engineering deliverables, data sheet, design changes etc. and provide guidance to contractor and vendors and make sure compliance with Design Basis, Specifications, Codes, Standards and Industry Practices.
• Experience in FAT/SAT, Installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, inspection and design modification on big rotating equipment like Gas turbine, Compressor and Pumps.
• Leading RCFA, Bad Actor for technical issues and resolving them to minimize number of trips & improve plant reliability and availability.
• Provide technical support & advice on the rotating equipment to various operation, engineering, projects, shutdown & turnaround departments.
• Develop long range machinery plans with planning engineer for machinery overhaul through performance evaluation, condition monitoring, equipment maintenance history, running hours etc. to maintain high reliability and availability of the plant.
• Monitor and analyze vibration of rotating equipment and accurately diagnosing vibration symptoms and problem prior to catastrophic failure and giving recommendation to maintenance team for repairs.
• Involve in equipment thermodynamic performance calculation, performance monitoring and selection of Rotating Equipment (pumps, compressors, gas turbines, turbo-machinery packages, expander compressors etc.) for LNG plant and Ras Gas Alpha offshore platform.
• Review required spare parts inventory IN SAP PM & MM Module & its availability with all resources required to execute the job to complete activities as per plan & reduce equipment’s downtime.
• Analyze and identify any potential equipment failure upfront before PF curve by using Condition Monitoring Techniques & Thermodynamic Performance Calculation.
• Develop and improve equipment strategy based on MTBF, failure history & findings, Identification of failure modes, OEM O&M manual etc.
• Familiar with codes: ANSI, API (670, 682, 610-619 Pumps / Compressors / Turbines) ISO, ASME and different pump mechanical seal plan and compressor dry gas seal system.
Reliance Industries Ltd. Dahej, INDIA: 1.3 Million Barrel Oil per Day Refinery Operator
• Initially, joined as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and then worked as a Project Engineer & Sr. Maintenance engineer in Petrochemical Plants.
• Supervised and lead plant maintenance technicians team to resolve daily PPM, CI/CO work order and screen SAP work notification and improve plant reliability.
• Supported maintenance technician team by training, troubleshooting, identifying correct spares for maintenance and provide solution to acute machinery problems.
• Prepared shutdown and turnaround maintenance plan for plant maintenance equipment. Lead and execute plan/unplanned shutdown job with technician & shutdown contractor team.
• Familiar with project gate system and involved in construction and commissioning phase of petrochemical plant.
