Presently doing Job at Food manufacturing company, Since 09/08/2010 in production department as Production manager looking after all production activities, production planning, Transportation, Canteen and Manpower management having strength of more then 200 Manpowers.
Also looking after R&D for Indian cousin, specially made from wheat.Involvement in Production Planning and scheduling procedures, Manpower planning for manufacturing in shifts with 11 production Officers.
• Organize & coordinate the production in shift with optimum plant performance with respect to production, quality standards, on time delivery, Compliance with budgetary requirements.
• Manage and lead the complete production operations in shift including cleaning and sanitation. Overall handling & Supervise production lines to meet production plan versus actual (Hourly)
• Overall responsibility of Packing section for both shift
• Achieve high productivity by maximizing the efficiency and minimizing the cost Optimizing the utilization of resources -man, material, machine and reduction in production losses
•To achieve plant KPM of Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost.•To ensure quick response and corrective action to any problem related to man, machine, material and method
•Deploying manpower based on production plan and resource availability and managing routine labor issues.
•Maintaining plant Hygiene and food safety including implementation of HACCP based food safety management system. Keep the machines and dept area always clean, neat, hygiene and tidy to maintain the image of the company at high standards.•Acting as an interface to R&D function in new product development, new packaging Development activities.• •Motivate the team to achieve performance targets against there agreed KPA’s oBy Organize and facilitate team meetings to achieve continuous productivity, process improvements and facilitate problem solving on the floor.
Purchase Management of Raw materials and Packaging materials for 3 units situated accross India OTHER WORK -
- Having responsibilities related with material procurement and done purchasing activity of Raw materials, Packaging materials and Machinery items for three manufacturing units of This company .
- Material Requisition Planning, Scheduling, timely finalization of Purchase / Contract order for procurement of material for smooth running of Production.
- Monitor timely Procurement of, Packing Material, Laboratory Equipments / Chemicals & Spares.
- National / international sourcing & negotiations: For example Shrink pack machine purchased from AUTOPACK, Thailand.
- Ordering & rescheduling, Follow-up of Pending order.
- New vendor Development, Vendor evaluation, minimizing material cost: For example :99% of raw materials suppliers of existing company was introduced & added by myself up to year 2008, and these all are still existing approved vendors.
- Supplier rating.
- Coordination with various Production processes & Marketing Dept, as well as Maintenance department of all three units speeded across India.
- Inventory Planning & Control, Stock Analysis, ABC Analysis.
- Interaction with Stores for receiving & inspection.
- Monitoring Issue of Materials.
- Inbound and outbound logistics. Freight Negotiations.
- ISO-9001 records & compliance.
- Disposal planning of Surplus stocks, scrap disposal.
- Implementation of all FDA and Governments rules with revised amendment as per Gazette of India on all packaging materials for example recently introduced expiry period changed.
Procurement of all machineries for new plant of Paonta sahib (H.P.) to Manufacture F.M.C.G.Products & COSMATICS that includes Hair oils and other cosmetics and Home care products. My full technochemical skills used as a technical persons; not as a Purchase officer, and successfully installed all Machines at Paonta sahib(HP), and co-ordination of trial done for Soap, cream, shampoo
