-Ensures timely availability of items as well as optimized stock levels in coordination with end users as per Procurement Department’s policies and guidelines.
-Analyses and adjusts MRP parameters such as minimum, maximum levels and economic order
quantity based on historical consumption pattern.
-Conducts Inventory analysis such as ABC for value, XYZ for demand variation & FSN for
consumption and take action to control inventory levels.
-Identify surplus/redundant and obsolete items for subsequent disposal/ write-off’s.
-Support strategic team on Technical evaluation after RFQ’s, Cleansing the Item Master, SPIR
review & implementation.
-Timely review & clearance of the stock replenishment PR’s to ensure that uninterrupted & regular supply of materials and check direct PRs for availability in stock.
-Ensures timely stock replenishment, and the reservation of required material for major
shutdown/modification works.
-Prepare purchasing reports, identify the delivery delay PO’s, follow-up & ensure that that the item
are received on time & there is no stock out situation.
-Prepare item list for the Vendor Frame Work Agreement for establishing long term price
agreement & thereby reducing the procurement cost & lead time
-Manages insurance and repairable items and takes necessary action as per department
procedure.
-Organizes & prepare plan for inventory cycle counting and reports findings and discrepancies to
Team Leader and Head of Procurement Strategy.
-Consultant for materials/spares management in the maintenance program responsible for
inventory management, repair and spares strategies.
-Engineering post review of SPIRs (mechanical; electrical; instrument; piping; HSE and so on),
working with cross sectional drawings, ensuring that spare parts, which were selected, are
necessary to guarantee a safe and uninterruptible operation per unit of equipment.
-Work closely with the vendors for the recommended spare parts lists for each equipment’s and ensure the necessary spare parts are approved and purchased for operations, which includes the Special Tools, Insurance, Operational and Commissioning & Start-Up spares.
-Liaise with the Discipline & Project engineers ensuring that the quality of incoming SPIR & spares
conforms to the Purchase Order instructions and the Supplier Guide.
-Material Cataloguing, Data cleansing & enrichment. Ensure that the Standard Modifier
Dictionary (SMD) is adequately applied for the catalogued data.
-Preparing Functional Asset Hierarchy based on the Main Equipment List (MEL) which is in overall
Project & developing hierarchy.
-On-site verification of commissioned and decommissioned assets to implement Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Proficiently accomplished Material Master Data & BOM creation in SAP MM, including Product Master Data Management in corporate database.
- Inventory analysis, Sales Analysis and preparing reports on non-moving & dead stock as part of Life Cycle Management (LCM).
- Conducts inventory research to identify root causes, trends of inventory discrepancies/adjustment, maintains inventory trend charts, and provide corrective action recommendations as needed.
- Coordinate and resolve critical issues regarding existing and new product inventory & establishment; ensure all contractual requirements are met through interaction with other departments.
- Responsible for updating material master with regard to inventory control including updating storage location, MRP information like re-order/maximum/minimum levels, lead time as required and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Key role in initiating and co-ordinating development of SAP system fields, queries, new programs, etc. to realize required enhancements based on appropriate business case.
- Carrying out the mass modifications in SAP database based on the new developments, modifications or standardizations & communicating to the concerned sections/departments.
