FORMATION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oil and Gas Industry Works
* Repair and rehabilitation of the train 3 for all civil and structural work.
* Civil work for drilling: Earthwork preparation of field, Construction of gypsum well pads including
berms, Cutting pit, Burn pit, Water pit, Waste Swage pit,
* Opening of access roads, Wellhead pad pre drilling works preparation, installing conductor pipes &
cellar, construction of main rig, concrete pad, mud pump concrete slab and concrete ditches,
excavation of pits.
* Construction of military camps all work concerning (earthworks, civil work, VRD, installation of
cabinets)
* new buildings of the Tiguentourine airstrip, including earthworks, opening of access roads,
excavations for foundations and various electrical cables, and all civil works (reinforcement,
formwork, casting Concrete formwork Flintkote, backfilling, general housekeeping
* Security enhancement system for CPF and Base de vie (Installation of HESCO Barrier & DELTA
Barrier).
* Supervision of all civil work related to Gathering System
* Ensure all work executed by the construction contractor is carried out in a professional, safe &
environmentally friendly manner at all times.
* Provide assurance that all construction activities are performed in accordance with required codes
and specifications
* Provide effective guidance and coaching and motivation to project and Contractor personnel to
ensure all civil works construction activities are performed efficiently, and safely and in performing
Scope of Work in accordance with Contract requirement
* Assist in the preparation, review and implementation of risk assessments and method statements
for planned construction activities
* Support the correct implementation of the IA Control of Work Standard (including the Permit to
Work system) at all construction sites
* Review contractors construction schedules to ensure they include all required activities, realistic
timelines, logical sequencing, adequate resources
* Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure that planned progress is being met and identify
necessary mitigating actions to recover progress delays
* Utilize the established Management of Change (MOC) and Site Technical Query (STQ) procedures for
addressing construction changes/issues in the field
* Ensuring all plant/equipment used for construction activities is fit for purpose
* Ensure that materials are at site as planned, preserved and prepared for delivery to the
contractors
* Report all anomalies to the QA/QC Coordinator where the integrity of the civil works will be affected
* Conduct and ensure that all Punch list items are cleared in a timely manner and completed in
accordance with Codes/Standards/Specifications and Engineered designed Drawings (AFC/IFC)
* Conduct audits with support from QA / QC Coordinator on materials quality and conformance of
structures and facilities done by contractors.
* Prepare reports as requested and required from QA/QC Coordinator documenting the daily
activities
Construction Works
* Discussing an engineering projects requirements with the client and other professionals.
* On-site experience as a site engineer for the construction of residential and industrial buildings
* The realization of all state works (foundation, masonry, coating, waterproofing, electricity, it system,
tv and fire and gas, plumbing, for buildings
* Inspecting works to ensure that they are constructed in accordance with the engineering designs,
authority requirements and contract specifications.
* Co-ordinating and attending engineering project meetings, maintaining meeting records and agreed
actions, and then following through to ensure actions are completed.
* Determining a projects costs by accurately calculating all labor, material, and related expenses.
* Producing and reviewing civil engineering drawing documents.
* Experience in preparing bill of quantities for various building structures.
* Scheduling project material and equipment purchases and deliveries.
* Advising the workers on the construction process and addressing their concerns.
* Managing engineering budgets and project resources.
* Communicating with the client and quickly responding to any requests for information.
* Answering all engineering related queries from colleagues and clients alike.
* Maintaining effective working relationships with authorities (CTC) to ensure project outcomes meet
authority expectations.
* Resolving any engineering and design issues that may occur on-site.
* Representing the company at external meetings with clients and fellow professionals.
Maritime Works
* Assistance with weekly and monthly meetings with third parties
* Participate in the implementation of the system, the timetable for audits andinspections of third
parties contracted by the Project
* Participation and approval of working methodologies for project activities
* Attend daily and weekly work meetings, report daily and weekly project activities.
* Attribution to the constitution of the final files of the project with a view to thepassing of works to
the client
* Supervised and followed the work according to the specifications and plans referredto and
approved.
* Reception of the formwork and reinforcement of infrastructure and superstructure(Caissons, soles,
rafters, poles floor ... etc.) according to the approved plans.
* Control and verification of the quality of the concrete on site at the time of casting(Abrahams test,
subsidence, temperature, aggregates)
* Supervise the concreting work of the BCRs blocks and the protection blocks (06m3, 09m3, 16m3,
24m3)
* Supervise the stranding work of the caissons
* Supervise the repair work of the caissons (repair of the segregation in the walls ofthe caissons).
* Supervise Sand Dredging, Rock fill Removal and Installation, RCR Removal and Installation
* Ensure that all activities of the site are carried out in accordance with thespecifications of the
contract.
* Reception and quality control of materials and materials for the project.
* Report daily and weekly project activities.
* Supervise the stranding work of the caissons
* Supervise the final installation work of the caissons.
